I think I'd rather have a 4C than a 2nd.

I don't really want to be in the middle of this. 4C vs possibly a viable 3C isn't worth getting worked up over. They don't need him to be a 3C, especially if they extend Mitts. Seems like a big part of why they are trying him there now is because of promises they made to him. From that standpoint, I still have no confidence in them to manage this team.

On and off for 12 years - nothing consistent. They pull me in, I get disgusted, I take a break.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Was here for the last two when I thought we had promise. Such is life, wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up faster.

This is not a knock on any STH, but I just can't see wasting money on this crappy product until they prove it.
Like you, I had hopes for this season in spite of a do nothing off-season.

- keep Mitts and give them Tage or Cozens instead
- Keep Rosen and give them Kulich or Savoie, even consider Quinn
- Keep Sammy and insert RyJo

Depends on their thoughts on the rebuild right? They're doing poorly enough that selling vets for futures isn't out of the question. We are a team that could replenish their stocks after some failed vet acquisitions.

Problem is, outside of Mitts and Peterka nearly everyone else has sh!t all over themselves so their value is depressed to a degree. Makes selling a bit tougher.
