I disagree about it taking dahlin. If he wants out it will look more like the eichel trade than not.

If they want futures we have as much as they need. If they want a young roster player we can oblige ++.

The sabres have an ability to make an offer few if any other teams could match. If they believe in this core then its a no brainer

Problem is, outside of Mitts and Peterka nearly everyone else has sh!t all over themselves so their value is depressed to a degree. Makes selling a bit tougher.

Funny you'd say that, Krebs actually outperformed Briere pretty substantially in his first full season. Briere was 24 yo when he exploded.

Briere-lite, I definitely could see happening for Peyton back then. .5ppg as a 20yo gives a decent All Star probability. He isn't close to that projection any more, but I wouldn't fault Adams for thinking he could've been considerably better tbh. poop, I think he is considerably better than what he's shown, but time will tell.

It is lower based on production. Brady is alot more physical by way of throwing 2-3x the hits though.
