Wow, I thought my screen went bad for a second.

I have a few thoughts. I would've liked to see him get less term, but, that is what teams have to do. Make the right calls on younger players, take a risk in order to get cap bargains down the line. I love Tippett's ability to skate and drive the net and that he shoots the puck. However, the rest of his game other than that, is pretty suspect. So I don't see it as a sure bet with the 8 years. Goal scorers get paid and he scores goals. The Flyers are starved for young offensive talent. Hope that answers your questions

I wouldn’t trade MM but everyone else would pretty much be in play.
MM has the potential to be a franchise player. They are not easy to replace. I doubt Van trades one for one.
The flyers need a #1 center but trading a player that may be even better is not an option.
MM is unproven and that is valid argument. I’m not willing to make that bet as of yet.

The flyers need a #1 center but trading a player that may be even better is not an option.

If it was GUARANTEED Michkov is coming over....I wouldn't do that deal. Petey is great and established, but the cost efficiency with age is what the Flyers need with skill right now.

In my premise, the re-signing of Konecny is a big reason why I would make the deal. If they're trading Konecny, that changes things. Either rebuilding or they're not.

Zamula looks great out there so far ... stepping up in the neutral zone, killing plays and making good decisions in the o-zone.

If I can get Petterson TK is a big piece of any offer. I don’t know what Vancouver needs and does not need.
I would hate to lose TK but the cost and term are probably going to be prohibitive. Plus Petterson will have to get paid.
