To be fair, maybe CGY thought they could get better for Zadorov and Tanev if they waited on Tanev.

As for Tre matching it without a 2nd he probably did.

At the end of the day Tanev wasn’t worth as much as they’d hoped and they took the best deal that didn’t involve Edmonton or Toronto.

They already did months ago with a 1st involved

About the draft, pretty standard due to timing. It was petty but whatever.
But i haven't seen any legitimate source calgsry doesnt want to trade with tre.
Of course they dont want to do him any favours, but for the right price they would deal

I had one a bit more than 25 years ago. I fell asleep during it. No sleeping gas or anything - normal anesthesia.

The problem I had afterwards was that I was about 25 and my girlfriend at the time asked me to open a bottle and I couldn't get a grip on the wet lid, so I used my teeth and shattered the newly hollowed tooth. It didn't hurt though.

Re Tanev Trade & Zadorov Trades The @MapleLeafs were interested in both players, and as I reported- they tried trading for both at the same time and individually. It seems clear the @NHLFlames would’ve had to be blown away to send either to T.O.

Chris Tanev to the Dallas Stars. Elite defensive defenseman. Top 10 in blocked shots and puck battle wins per game. Very effective puck mover and low risk player in terms of puck management. Big add for the Stars right side.
