Devils aren’t making the playoffs. I think Tampa will show why they can still compete in this last month, and the Red “hot” wings aren’t dropping out. Devils should still trade for Markstrom though so they can get a goalie.

Worst case rd 1 opponent for us is Detroit I think. So if we win the division, would prefer we finish 1st in the East so we can get the bolts instead. Unfortunately it seems like Carolina will get the flyers who will have sold a dman or 2 at the deadline and just barely got in, or the devils who are very flawed and will have barely snuck in.
