I think with the second line as good as it is, if you add Vatrano to the first line of opens up so many things for another team to focus on. And add in a 3rd line with maybe Cuylle and Kakko and maybe a center, that’s even more things to game plan for

He's playing much better again since returning from injury. We are comfortably in 1st place and not far from the playoffs. Why is it so hard to believe he will perform in the playoffs again? No harder to believe than Kreider-Mika-Vatrano recapturing what they had a dozen linemates ago, IMO.
Take our money and fill 3C and 3D spots.

He’s looked really good with Cuylle, not one time has looked good with them. Fault whoever you want, but his style doesn’t mesh well with them. It’s forcing it is what it is. He and Cuylle are forecheckers and feed off each other positively
