Yeah, I just don't see they not trying to win.
It more about the roster, and the roster is playing to its abilities.
What if the hawks added at the deadline? Not the 9th best prospect on another team's prospect list, but a buy of journey man shooter.
I can see where various teams are gonna throw a Danaut or two to the wayside to get space, for their BIG add at the deadline.
Maybe we will add?
As much as I would love a unicorn like one of the Tkachuk's I doubt there are any "Thachuk-lites" being offered around, and what is on the market now are guys that
teams expect an over pay on from desperate teams in Cup runs before their windows close, willing to overpay, although the Tanev launched didn't get the Flames the first rounder they expected.
Anyone thing Adam Henrique is worth a first rounder? Not me.
I keep hearing how there is gonna be lots of moves but as I do every year, I think not, and there still are! - wiz1901
KFC is definitely not trying to win. And that is and has always been my point. |

I would keep him also, maybe pick up a Stalock type to push him in training camp. - LAHawk
Do any of the goalies in Rockford push him in training camp? Commesso or Stauber?

With Gajan going to college and Commesso most likely another season away from becoming a backup they probably have to grab a Stalock type or Stauber is the one to push him in training camp/preseason. |

Nope, and who in the system do you have to replace him currently? - LAHawk
Throw in Nick Seeler and the 1st overall pick is practically a lock. |

I was being facetious. - paulr
Seeing how Drysdale is on the shelf again with shoulder issues and the Flyers might make the playoffs, it's not a far fetched idea. |

Not to mention Raddysh falling off a cliff, and AA getting injured after 20 goals each last year. - Chunk
I never expected much from Raddysh, but when he potted 20 last year I figured he'd be good for 25.
And yeah AA being hurt definitely hurt them.
Like I mentioned earlier, gambling that these guys that got injured will be ok next year is dumb.
Not saying KD is going to do that, just hoping it isn't crossing his mind. |

10 d-men in round 1
And 16 d -men in round 2?
Wow!
Still have Lindstrom at #2 even though he's been out a while?
And Eiserplan sitting pretty at #3 even though other places have him dropping.
Way to stick to your guns Wiz! - captainserious
Moreover, my mock has a whopping 33% of the players as defenseman.
42 LD & 31 RD
As I have repeatedly said there are lots of rearguards that need polish, but have better chances than we seen in the last couple classes, who should get selected and will be ling term developmenral guys.
It is also a better Russian class than we've seen in years, guys who could play in the bigs.
As far as my dee heavy first round, Hutson and Kiviharju are out of respect and I know I have time to move them into the second, but there drop could be momentous, so I am too conflicted and tired to and guess who would c grab them and when/where in the live proceedings. |

Because Cayden Lindstom is nit playing, will his talent evaporate with the injury time he is out?

Did Eiserman stop scoring with that big shot?
I have to be more convinced on the two Russians and the RD from Belarus before I think that is my they are my "plug n play" early selections know all don't plug in for a couple seasons. At least the Artyom Levshunov speaks English. - wiz1901 |

I bet KD gave Danny a map, did you see the smiles the Blackhawks org had when they were on stage? So far so good, but now comes the hard part. I hope KD is discipline like Yzerman, KD did show discipline draft night when Stevie was trying to get more 2nd round picks out of him to move up, sign some FAs, let the kids marinate, and i really liked the 4 year deal he gave Cat.
He did sign 3 pro's to 2 year extensions, now what, maybe 2 college kids join the fold next year? Maybe sign 2 to 3 more middling pros to short term contracts? |

Blackhawks really do need an artist like Corey Perry who lives and dishes in front of the net. |

and with todays snowflaing tech, they could have added snipers several minutes after the tragedy and easily could have made it a mob it, a CIA deep cover app (for the Bay of pigs fiasco), or blamed it on LBJ.
It is such a different time now, where people look up for answers in a yelling nasty as their answer to their discord, a strong man can help lead us out...and American Fascism is alive and well...holy new Mussolini, Beany!
No Cecil, he is only going top be a tyrant on day one.
It is amazing to me, that so many people I talk to, tell me they can no longer have conversations with their own siblings b/c they are deep into their leader cannot allow any real truth in to any of the equations...I guess can call deep "flakes" too.

That's sad they can't have a conversation with their own kids.

As soon as you accept that the leaders of both sides are bad people and their goal is to divide, its easier to have those conversations. Its the ones that cling to the "my side is all good and right about everything, and your side is evil and wrong about everything" are the ones that have made it hard to discuss anything.
At the top, they are all crooks, and always have been.

Not sure what you’re trying to say? Are you agreeing or disputing with my point that KD tanked this season? |

Korchinski needed to take away the passing lane, or at least make it more difficult to complete. Way too easy for Johnson to make that pass. |
