Howe do you know he didn’t do that after the first Caps goal? - jd250
Why would he? Brink didn't do anything wrong on the Ovechkin goal.

No it wasn't. Neither were Brink's mistake. On the Ovechkin goal, Brink is picked by Tom Wilson and has no chance to get to Ovechkin. Brink was not the main culprit on the Carlsson goal. There were numerous coverage errors on the play as I outlined. - MJL
It wasn’t about getting to Ovey, it was about getting to the puck before Wilson did to stop that play from happening. Brink was soft and Wilson took advantage. |

He got totally outmuscled and in doing so let the best scorer in history walk right in for a clean shot 😂 |

Spot on! He doesn’t know a thing about the game that’s not in natural stat trick, and he proves it every day. |

It's a bang bang play. Brink has no chance against the bigger Wilson. That's nonsense.

Yes it is a bang bang play. And because he is so small and weak, he did absolutely nothing to disrupt Wilson. The puck or the body. In doing so, it was a clean walk in for ovechkin. Your know it all attitude is annoying; we all saw the play bud. |

I’d be curious to see if he has the most off the draw goals in history, like that goal. I would bet he does. |

No question
Brink was also the guy who should have put the body on Carlsson on his goal before that easy wrap. |

Most of hockey is a bang bang play, you got to know what to look for and what to do on face offs and be hungry for the puck. It looked to me like Brink was sleeping on that play and reacted a second too late |

There isn't a player in the league in that situation that would've been able to run through Wilson to stop that play. Stop acting like a child bud.

Playoff bubble teams should not be extending 29 yr old or older Dmen unless they are all stars. Come on Danny, do the right thing and get the job done. |
