Imagine being one of the best at what you do and you get rewarded with a measly 92.8 million. The NHLPA is a disaster led by a self-proclaimed socialist. No one will ever take this sport seriously when top players are working for peanuts. |

The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save the NHL, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA. Thank you very much. - Zezel

Nylander signs for 11.5, Petterson signs for 11.6. If you’re an Swedish born NHL top-6 forward that is UFA after this season (cough…cough…Lindholm) you must be loving this trend |

Not joking. It's insane. Jaromir Jagr was making 11 million is 2002. It's completely insane that 20 years later, there hasn't been any improvement to the lives of these players. None. There isn't one single industry on the planet aside fron hockey where salaries have been the same or lower 20 years later. Not one. Donald Fehr, Marty Walsh and Gary Bettman are criminals. |
