Agree, but he's a decent WR to. Speed doesn't matter if you can't Catch the ball or learn the play book. John Ross comes to mind. - Buff36
Feels like the bills would benefit/ upgrade over Gabe in the speed category. Maybe find a guy with less drops .

Spreading the field vertically is huge, so I'd love it. I think Stephon would become much harder to cover if we had another John Brown back here. |

Adonia Mitchell might be the better pick IMO. He's not slow either. More polished than his teammate Worthy. |

Interesting tidbits
"Okposo, Girgensons and Erik Johnson have shared with Adams where they prefer to play after the trade deadline. The Sabres’ general manager met with center Casey Mittelstadt recently to explain, while the club plans to begin contract talks with the pending restricted free agent’s agent, Neil Sheehy, following the deadline, it also must listen to and consider any trade offers that occur before 3 p.m. Friday." |

I hope they don’t trade Girgensons.
If they do trade him, I think it’s a surprising return.
I’m thinking 2nd maybe third rounder imo
Okposo a 5th
Johnson a 6th
Hopefully it’s a player or 2 instead of picks

What the hell does that mean?
They gave him a list of preferred landing spots elsewhere, or here?
I don't really care to be honest. Draft Picks in 5th+ very rarely play in the NHL and are fillers in the AHL. No real value here. At best, they balance the trade returns only... But utility wise they are as worthwhile as a leaky boat. |

It's good to have hope.
Almost time to find out. Deals should start to pick up in the next 48 hours.

Biggest day of disappointment in sports IMO. 2 weeks of buildup and the balloon burst at 3:00pm on TDL day. |

Yup, he's going overboard to be nice. Not sure I buy that it really helps their reputation long term, but whatever, these guys aren't worth much. Sucked more when it was Taylor Hall.

Little different for Buffalo. Can trade Girgs and Okposo for future considerations, but moving on is still a historic event.

A lot of the good stuff is moved in those prior weeks. Sabres have a pretty good piece Available if they choose in Mitts. |

I am looking forward to a new captain. Okposo was a huge disappointment. - sabresfan69
Great human being and family man. Was a decent player years ago but his years here in Buffalo have been a massive disappointment… same as his supposed leadership. Trade him wherever the Sabres get the best return. Good luck, Kyle |

Some of his remarks this year have definitely turned what was left of his "fans" here against him. Goood Riddance.

Sabres need to trade Mittelstadt.
Krebs can do what Mittelstadt does. Not to mention Ostlund and Savoie will be ready to do the same thing within the next 2 seasons. |
