Dahlin w/o Joker 47.5%
Joker w/o Dahlin 45%
Samuelsson w/ Dahlin 50.1%
Dahlin w/o Samuelsson 52%

Power w/ Dahlin 56%
Dahlin w/o Power 52%

Lot of takeaways here, but first reaction is: fire Donnie. He forces the two pairs that consistently don't work. - Lunaion

Those are 1 season. Easy enough to look at 2. Most of them have reasonable minutes together, and the focus is on the most common combo's.

Donnie is definitely feeling the pressure after Lindy ruff’s dismissal . Especially with the Adams connection

Wonder if the outcome would have been better in the beginning of the Year if we had started with
Dahlin Joker
Power Samuelsson
Would the implementation of the D system been smoother. |

If you're Adams, why would you make a coaching change this summer and risk a poor start next fall when you could stick with this coach until next year and extend your timeline of failure by 12 months at least?
If Adams fires Granato in December of next year instead, he'll buy himself at least 18 months of job security |

If Kev puts his neck on the line to keep Donnie, he's at risk next year too.
Want Lindy in the org? That's either as the coach or with some decision making power.

I think you bring in Lindy as a consultant, then he takes over if they start slow next year.
Think John muckler |

That makes the huge assumption that he's ready to take a non-coaching gig and one with no decision making power.

Lindy would need to be heard. Would pegula would hire a non “yes” guy?
I wonder how the recent extension and how that would be applied to his next nhl job. Would he get paid more as a consultant.
I’m assuming a Buffalo guy wants to head home , just an assumption |

Terry needs to toss the keys to Lindy (President) and let him make decisions on Kevyn and consult on if Donnie returns

Think it's fair to assume that Lindy is making more money on his extension than Donnie or Kev.
Don't know why you assume he'd want to 'come home'. My first assumption is he wants to explore head coaching opportunities.

Maybe he can come home and coach ?
Lindy is pretty old, thought maybe he would want to settle down in the b-lo |

Maybe. No clue what he wants, but he was coaching a few days ago, so I don't assume he's finished. 4th all time in wins, that may be important to him.
Would be disappointed if Terry hasn't called.

I rather sign Mitts to a 5x7 and trade Skinner with one of our prospects to dump cap then trade Mitts for futures.
Can't sign Mitts longterm without losing a Paterka or next emerging forward because we will be up to cap. Dumping Skinner lets you, and we have plenty of prospects to take skinners spot cheap if we lost a Rosen in that trade.

Give a first or second to a dumpster fire team to retain some on skinner and move him.
I agree. I’d much rather have Mitts and free up Skinners spot for a good new addition.
I’d even explore both gone |

Why ? - Buff36
Why not? One’s a top 5 defenseman and the other is just in his second year and people keep crapping on him even when plays against arent his fault. Power needs a legit DEFENSIVE PARTNER people. |

So your idea is to pay upwards a 1st+ (because that’s what’s it will cost for Skinner to be gone.) to deal Skinner’s bad contract and you follow that up bringing in another bad contract?
Resigning Mittelstadt would be the wrong way to go. He’s not worth what he will get. Best to trade him in the summer. Krebs can do what he does.
Trading him for a top 4 right handed defensive defenseman would be the best coarse of action.
