This may be true. Also got a lot of time with Jack Johnson/Samuel Girard, when the latter was playing some of his worst hockey. Hopefully being with Power or Dahlin brings out the best in him.

I will reserve judgment, but Colorado fans were talking about him like a bust this time last year.

Buffalo now has the best young defense core in the league in my view.
However the team is 23rd in goals for and just traded their leading scorer.
Would not be surprised at all if there is another move coming.

Virtually give Okposo and Girgensons away, hopefully to a solid contender... For the sole purpose of bringing up several youngins to see what they got (mind the slide rule, give each 9 games)... Kulich, Rosen, Rousek, Savoie (if possible). Play Jost, Olofsson and others who remain for the balance of games.

Offseason -
- Trade Mitts in a package for a suitable 2RhD for Power's partner (offseason)
- Sign a decent BU Goalie for 1 year to allow The Phenom to develop playing big minutes / ~50 games.
- Sign a 4C who is good defensively, good on the dot, and good on the PK.
- Trade for a power forward for middle six.
