I wouldn't be shocked if they go the rest of the season with just 3 Assistants without anyone wearing the "C". And with 19 games left and the playoffs out of reach, it's probably fine.

If they give Girgensons the "C", it's a clear sign that they have no idea what winning hockey looks like, nor do they care to learn. Actually, I stand corrected. Giving Okposo the "C" was the clear sign. This would just be the sign that this team learned nothing.

I assume his job is safe, but I would make him show it in the off-season. Some big, signature move. One of our current top 6 and a prospect for an all star. One of our LHD and a prospect for a legit RHD. Done with waiting

He's actually someone who would fit in well. He can run a lot of short routes to pick up firsts and be a 3rd down monster like beasley was a few years ago. Respectable enough to take double coverage away from Diggs. could wait to take a WR in 2nd then (unless that's what we traded)

drafted small undersized forwards


then actually made a hockey trade when we are in essence eliminated for this season


did nothing to replace quinn for the first half of the season

kept 3 goalies on the roster to start the year, for who knows why

failed to bring kane home

failed to retain peca as an assistant

failed to upgrade any assistants

we get to watch meathead lean on jost for the rest of the season though and watch meathead ruin krebs

We never retain, so I'm betting the latter. At this point in the season, 50% retained, his cap hit is what $1.5M? That's doable for a depth forward. Unfortunately Pegula is one of the cheapest owners despite being filthy rich.

I am usually on your side Boss, but come on.... I could give to squirts about quiet leadership. That don't put W in the Colum. Okie and Gus should of been gone a LONG time ago. if you need "Dads" on the team you really need to fire your head coach.
