Lots of noise around Armia and Anderson. Hard to move I agree but who knows!
Most big moves should be done at the draft and UFA day. - WaterBoy
Have not heard much about them, but I keep hearing Savard's name all over the place.
Will be interesting to see if the Habs actually do something larger, but I am not expecting any roster players to be moved at the TDL.

If someone is moved, I think it would be for Allen to break the 3some in net.
The Savard discussion I think is driven by MTL to get big offers. As LeBrun said ,habs want 1st and a prospect that is worth a 1st, where do you think that info is coming from....the Habs. I don't think teams are desperate enough to do this but you never know, a teams gets a couple of injuries on with their right D's and suddenly there is a buyer. |

I know Savard is a hot thing since he's a RH D and a solid stay at home.
I would rather push Matheson (I think he fetches way more) and keep Savard that helps way more in a rebuild situation. |

IMO...next year is when they will turn the team to the kids on D like they are doing up front now. |

self made noise from MTL, not sure the Habs want to retain on Anderson for 3 years after this season.
Armia has one year left but he is useful. I don't think you would get more than a turd for Armia with 50
50% retained. You will get close to the same return (3rd or 4th) without moving him and just retaining salary for THIS season. Which means there is almost no incentive to retain salary other than getting rid of Armia.
IF...and it's a BIG IF...someone is getting moved, it is Allen...to break the threesome - Symba007
We are moving Armia AND Allen and will be happy about it ! |

this is gonna be a very quiet Friday in Mtl imo - fidopro
If interesting offers come he'll listen for sure but he doesn't need to do anything this week. Roster changes will most likely be made through the Summer months.
He already made his move obtaining a 1st round pick for Monahan. |

yep, he had one interesting asset to trade, and he traded him already.
I could see them taking on a bad contract to help a 3-way deal though. |

Anything could happen for sure but we already have a ton of picks for the next 2 drafts.

More picks = more things to trade for top 6 player.
A combo of picks and young D will net us something interesting in the off-season.
How the draft lottery shakes out is the real issue on what we might be able to get (or want). |

that Habs 2nd round draft pick traded to Phx (then moved to Wpg)...another smart move Bergevin...for Dvorak (1st and a 2nd) |
