Cutter was a prima donna female dog who wanted to be gifted a roster spot no matter how he played. |

I had no idea this Barkey pick was the Giroux trade. Hell of a D+1 season for that kid. The progression you want to see from a player. |

Him and Bonk are a huge reason London is so good this year.

Don’t forget the Pens loss last night.
As long as the Flyers don’t totally implode, those teams aren’t catching us. They don’t seem to have it or seem to want to make a push. IMO, the Pens and Caps don’t have the horses. Devils do, but their time is running out. |

Lol, good point - BiggE
I would just keep him on the roster and hope he returns to some sort of a decent player next season. 15+ goals.
Is there any chance they can trade the Hayes contract?

I believe he is a excellent skater and very good hands too. His size is the biggest concern 5’9” 155 lbs. He is 3rd in scoring GP56 G31 A56 Pts 87 +/- 38
He looks very shifty in the offensive zone in clips I’ve seen.

I think a lot of fans of hockey are betting against the Flyers. I think some of our own fanbase is betting against us as well. They want to trade all assets now.
I’m not expecting the Flyers to trade Walker or Seeler. I believe since 2004 and 2010 that defensive depth is important. I think we should stand with what we have. I would also consider adding a forward if it doesn’t cost anything. For example, I’d consider calling about pending UFA Anthony DuClair for a very average prospect or no more than a 3rd round pick. I don’t want to go into the post seeing much of Nick D or the 11F/7D at any point in the playoffs.
I understand we’re not winning the cup but the measuring stick is the playoffs and I wanna see what the kids can do. |

The Flyers don't have the contract. You can't trade retained salary

I agree. The Devils have to make some kind of move to bolster their team or their not going to catch the Flyers. Flyers have a tough schedule but I think they're going to make it.

I hate to ever give the feltch any praise since he screwed this franchise for years to come but that Roo trade was a home run.
Also, gotta give flahr props for his draft picks. The guy seems to be able to find talent in later rounds. If we can unearth a few more mid to late round gems it'll make this "rebuild" shorter |

Bonk has hit another level and I believed he raised his previous ceiling prediction. The kid is sold in his own end amd has now shown a scoring touch.
I really wanted Perreault at 22 but bonk was a damn good selection. I guess we will know more in a few years as both progress but I'm happy to see bonk doing what he is doing |

On his own size isn’t that big of a deal if he knows how to avoid the big hits. The problem lies in having a few smaller guys in your lineup.
Frost, Brink, Drysdale, York, Atkinson are on the lighter side. Add in Barkey and that’s a smallish club. |

Briere was undersized too. Barkey is definitely on the smaller size so he will need to muscle up but with the game being more about skill and speed now he has a good chance to make an impact, imo |

I wouldn’t mind seeing at least Walker moved. Guess it will depend on Jamie and RR coming back. They should know their time frame, even though not letting the fans know. Maybe add something for next years draft, considering this upcoming draft seems thin according to the experts. Either way, it’s fun to have meaningful hockey at this point of the season. Given us a fun season to watch and enjoy. Get some playoff experience and keep building it up. |

I also believe any deals that might help us get into the playoffs should happen before the Florida trip. So Tuesday or Wednesday. New guy travels with the team and we face two very tough opponents. |

Agree. I also don’t like waiting until the last day. If they feel they’re getting good value, do it. If something then comes unexpectedly on Friday that helps the club, by all means take advantage. |

I think the Drysdale and risto long term injuries will change their plan. They are down to 6 playing staal in the lineup. If they don’t get offered a 1st for Walker they are passing. Seeler I’m convinced gets resigned. Laughton goes nowhere he’s a summertime deal if at all |
