The silence you hear is Briere shriveling underneath the desk as the coach GM asserts his small Richard. |

I think the Drysdale and risto long term injuries will change their plan. They are down to 6 playing staal in the lineup. If they don’t get offered a 1st for Walker they are passing. Seeler I’m convinced gets resigned. Laughton goes nowhere he’s a summertime deal if at all - Just5
I’m thinking they might want a veteran goalie on an expiring contract by Friday. Someone for Sam to bounce stuff off of. Plus give him a blow down the stretch. |

does NJ get desperate and fire the coach along with making a few moves? or ride it out?
their GM fell asleep at the wheel imo |

They need a goalie, a stud D man, and a defensive center. But they are 2 weeks to late. |

The Craps and Devils lose! Hope the Pens make it a hat trick against the Oil tonight! Isles getting on a heater? How does a team that has been notoriously bad at shoot outs go 5 for 5 on penalty shots for the season? Inquiring minds want to know. |

I wouldn’t get a goalie and I wouldn’t add to the defense. I’d ride the back end. I’d add a forward so we don’t have to see 11F and 7D ever again |

As many stated before this season, an absolute fool for not upgrading the goaltending position. You didn’t have to go get a huge name but give your team a chance. |

Pens done...Caps done...Devils on life support....Isles faint pulse...that 3rd spot in Met and likely last playoff spot is theirs to be taken. THE TDL DILEMMA |

THE TDL DILEMMA - hfc355 I think someone out of those 4 teams is gonna take a run at em. Right now I would probably favor the Devils or Isles. The Flyers have a brutal schedule from March 7th thru the 26th. They will be very lucky to be .500 through that 10 game stretch. |

Guess what though. Based on current trends and how the other teams chasing the Flyers have been playing. Flyers playing .500 hockey the rest of the season probably gets it done.

I just saw a pic of him on the Flyers fan FB page and he looks like a midget. |

Briere was undersized too. Barkey is definitely on the smaller size so he will need to muscle up but with the game being more about skill and speed now he has a good chance to make an impact, imo - Bob Habib
I’ll take skill as long as there is will too. Skills ( skating, stick handling, creativity, passing shot) must be accompanied with desire and toughness to battle through. Toughness doesn’t mean fighting or hitting but being able to take a hit and still playing your skill game. Danny Briere, Brian Propp and even a young Cam Atkinson are some good examples of the small but effective offensive player.
Here is to his continuing development!! |

For me it’s much less of a concern when it’s a forward. Dman is different. |

There's no way they make a trade with the metro division teams all clowning around like this. Seems like the Flyers are gonna make the POs by default. |

It would be criminal if McDavid never wins a Cup. Sadly, I doubt he wins one in EDM. |

Anyone see the “sorry for being late” pre game interview with Claude Giroux on January 31st in Detroit? |
