all kidding aside this is one of the worst scenarios he could be in at this time imo. Then again we know the rebuild is BS so maybe it is a good spot for him.
I am more interested in seeing who they may acquire. Will it be a nate thompson Torts guy? Or will they actually look to add offense?
for my own enjoyment I hope they dont trade anyone out of seeler walker laughton. - hello it's me 2050
Can’t have too many Hathaway/Poehling/Laughton types for the playoff push. No doubt they are on the prowl. |

I wonder if they try to move ND while bringing in one of the above type players. |

where do you see me rooting for a broken foot? not surprising as many know you have comprehension issues. - hello it's me 2050 Would be very entertaining if Seeler broke anything? I think you're the one with comprehension issues. |

We just need a dumb GM who thinks they need a ND type player to keep their guys safe. Oh wait, Fletch isn't GM anymore.

Angelo fits that bill. The two guys that Torts banished (Hayes and angelo) both suck. Imagine that. |

You're an idiot jd. With Staal on the ice tonight at 5 on 5. Shot attempts were 17-6 Flyers. Giving him a CF% of 73.91%. He was not on the ice for any goals against. He had an expected GF% of 81.80. Scoring chances were 8-3 Flyers. High danger scoring chances were 4-0 Flyers. He had zero charged giveaways. The only small blemish in his game was the penalty he took. I'm not a Staal fan at this point in time but he played a good game tonight.
You posting that he was bad tonight, is just another indication that you don't have a clue of what you're looking at in the game of hockey. - MJL
Do you actually watch the game? I don't care what these stats say, they mean absolutely nothing to a players individual performance. Staal was noticeably bad in this game, and it's embarrassing that I even have to explain this to you. Next you are going to tell me Frost had a great game also, right? |

Poehling and Laughton getting over 20 minutes. Torts riding the checking centers. - Trox88
Because honestly these two along with Hathaway were the best Flyers forwards tonight. |

He always looks timid against heavy teams. Just watch the game on Thursday. He will be invisible cause he knows that they bring it physically. I'd hope he play well to finish this season and then send him packing. I noticed several times last night that he had a chance to take the puck to the net and he never even looked at the net. Soft soft soft!!

Because honestly these two along with Hathaway were the best Flyers forwards tonight. - jd250 I'd put Foerster in with those guys and he actually had the most ice time among forwards. He was a threat almost every time that he was on the ice. Little Frosty was scared to go near the net. Coots is hurt and Atkinson is cooked. Tippett made some plays and the rest were invisible. Oh, except for Farabee when he made that hellacious pass to set up that dynamic Hayes goal on which he tripped over himself and scored his first goal in 19 games. |

LOL..that is funny. I don't get why they wanted to bring him back after his year in Philly. |

yes it would be 100% entertaining. only in your pea brain do you draw the conclusion I hope he gets hurt.
If I hope he got hurt I would easily say as much.
love tony d. salt of the earth type guy. |

Idiotic and ignorant response. Par for the course. You don't know what you're looking at. Staal had a solid game defensively. All I have to do is lay out the indisputable facts to support my opinion. Then just sit back and laugh while you reply making yourself look like a moron. |

He has been the teams 2nd leading scorer over the last 30 games, only behind Konecny. Playing like a solid 2nd line center over that period of time.

No they weren't. The Flyers two best forwards offensively in the game were Foerster and Farabee. Farabee had a bad turnover leading to a goal but otherwise played a solid game. Laughton had a solid game also. Tortorella is overplaying role players. |

Joel Farabee, the ok player with barely ok skill with a very not ok turnover. What a stupid play - jd250
Ok, we know you arent a farabee fan. Who would you have rather the flyers drafted in the spot if not him?

Playing like a solid 2nd line center over that period of time. - MJL He will never be a second line center in the NHL for a contending team. Too soft and he doesn't look to shoot enough. This is why Torts gets pissed at him. He could be even better than what you just said if he was in the middle of the play all the time. Too much time on the perimeter and that's what I saw last night. I'll lay it out there for all to see. I'm guessing that he will be invisible against Florida on Thursday night too. Forst just isn't the type of guy that will have success come playoff time IMO. |

how diff do things look with MM, Perrault, and Cutter in the fold? - hello it's me 2050 Was clamoring for them to take Perrault over Bonk big time. Bonk may turn out to be okay, but Perrault's potential upside is much higher. Sometimes ya gotta swing for the fences. I just hope this kid doesn't destroy the Flyguys every time they meet the Rags in the years to come. Puck Cutter!! |
