I think they've done a good job drafting the past few years. Even Timmin's last few drafts are looking pretty good nowadays (Caufield, Guhle, Mailloux).
I was on the "draft Michkov" train but I'm willing to give Reinbacher some time before judging the pick. He was my 2nd choice after Michkov so it's not the end of the world for me.
A few months ago, so many people would have traded Slaf for Cooley in a heartbeat.... don't hear much of these clowns today. - Scabeh
mind you, I think Cooley will be much better than Wright |

Kopitar was not even in discussion for the 5th pick in 2005. Habs were targeting Benoit Pouliot but he went 4th. Kopitar went 11th |

I remember hearing after Price, Marc Staal was their number 2 choice |

If they had not picked Price, they would have (frank)ed it up as bad as Chuckie or KK.

That 05 draft was pretty dogpoop. Imagine if it didn't have the Crosby hype. |

Price was a good choice ... too bad they never built a team in front of him in subsequent drafts.
When your top centerman is Koivu, you've got a problem ... I'm not poopting on him but he never was meant to be a 1st line center. |

Perhaps.
I had Wright as a pick for the Habs so it would be pretty silly for me to count him out a year and a half after he was picked.
But I thought he'd do better than he has in the AHL so far. This being said, they are all very young so we need to give them all time before we make rash calls on either of them.

Also, was good morning to go for a bike ride.
Knee is gonna hurt tomorrow, but the sun and relative warmth was a nice offset. |

All I can think of, given the relative mediocrity of the rest of the Habs lineup over his career, how poop this team woulda been without him.

I don’t know if we should rejoice that a well known festival bringing tourist is going down because the first administrator was a sexual creep...
I mean all the people losing their jobs didn’t do ( allegedly ) anything wrong ?
its also a sign of tme, now people can easily produce their own content |

Yeah, sad to see.
Hopefully it make sit back next year... it is an event that is really known around the world and has made a lot of careers.
I am not into stand-up as much as I was in my younger days, but I can enjoy it once in a while. However, many comedians post a lot fo their own stuff from their shows online/youtube now to generate interest, so I can see how that is a harder business model.
