Thursday at Florida
Saturday at Tampa Bay
3/12 home to Sharks (Flyers gave them their 1st win)
3/14 Toronto home
3/16 at Boston
3/19 Toronto home
3/21 at Carolina
Back to back home Boston and Florida 23/24
3/26 at Rags

Hate to be a Debbie Downer but the bottom is about to fall out. Obviously they won't go 0 for everything but nothing aside from San Jose is favorable.

Have you reviewed the schedules of the teams chasing the Flyers? Isles probably have a little easier schedule then the Flyers, not by much. Caps and Devila have a brutal schedule also. Strength of schedule- no one is getting a benefit till the end of the season.

i don't think we miss the playoffs with how incompetent wash and nj are but we should still soft sell
- 2Real
You're forgetting about the Isles. To me they may be the biggest threat cause they have a favorable schedule and 3 games in hand on the Flyers. Jersey would be the next biggest threat in my eyes. Coaching change boost and possibly trading for a top notch goalie/defender makes them still a threat realistically.

That’s one tough schedule. But if they come out at .500 they almost are sure to make the playoffs. Round 1 of the playoffs won’t be any easier than this gauntlet so time to step up.
- mikeyo27

Tough but many of those teams are in comfortable playoff spots. Their hair won’t be on fire

If the flyers aren’t good enough to take them on in the regular season than who really cares about playoffs.

I don't see it that way and I certainly would NEVER categorize him as a great player. We shall see I guess cause I wouldn't be shocked if he is at least shopped this off season.

Everyone’s schedule is back loaded with division / conference games. I would think the teams below us have a similar schedule.

None of the team chasing the Flyers have an easy schedule down the stretch. No advantage over the Flyers in that regard. The Flyers are going to make the playoffs in my opinion. Barring any long term significant injuries.

The Flyers have plenty of skilled centers. No need for Frost.

Trade him for a guy like Pinto. Get a skilled young center for a skilled young center. A hockey trade involving two players that need a change of scenery pending how the rest of the season turns out. A 22 year old kid (Foerster) is the one that has stepped up the most in TK's absence.

I’m throwing a party this Saturday, I was hoping some of you could attend. I’m not miserable enough, so I was looking to fix this.

Bill again outlines the flaws in Tortorella's in game strategy and coaching.
- MJL

The only flaws that are outlined daily is your continued ignorance of NHL hockey. What do you think this is, a pee-wee game where everyone gets their minutes no matter what? Torts is trying to WIN GAMES, and thus he is going to play the players that have it going that night the most minutes. Cam is cooked, everyone knows it. He is at the stage of ND for me, cringe worthy every time he is on the ice. I liked Lkysell and Brink with Couts and I would like to see more of it, however Couts is one of the players that has slumped recently, and as you know I was pointing this out months ago. Whether you want to admit it or not, Frost and Farabee are not getting the job done, unless of course you count what they are doing for the opposing team. Laughton and Poehling have been the Flyers most consistent centers over the past few weeks and thus they are getting the bulk of the ice time. These are the FACTS, not opinions. You need to accept it and learn.

Would love a Pinto/Frost trade but apparently the Flyers had that offer on the table earlier in the season while the suspension was pending and Ottawa said “no”. Hes a bigger guy, played center, was everywhere the other day when the Flyers played against Ottawa. He only signed a prorated 1 year deal so I believe he’s an RFA who may be worth a significant pay raise, so maybe there’s a chance.

Is it about this year or into the future? If it’s about the future, it shouldn’t matter what the Flyers currently have and should only be about getting better young talent.

Say it with me: He is a playmaker, not a goal scorer. But had 19 goals last year, and could do about that periodically in future seasons. Worry more about chance creation than his own scoring chances.

Just have Cutter Gauthier take his role as the only playmaking center on the roster aged under 25... ooh, whoops. They traded him for the new Ryan Ellis.

Frost has a higher shooting percentage than the $49,600,000 man Owen Tippett over the last two seasons. And one of them is supposed to be a sniper.

I mean the Flyers have so many other players that already do that. Why be so redundant?

If he's trying to win games , explain starting Cates, Sanheim and Poehling in OT.
