It’s hilarious how Morgan Frost is so polarizing. He’s not taking a huge cap hit. Hes a middle 6C. Has semi-decent stats for a middle 6. Is 24 years old. Is not devoid of talent by any stretch of the imagination. Yet people lose their flipping minds arguing over his utility or lack thereof. - mikeyo27
That's because so many folks over hump his jock. One guy called him a great player earlier today. Eh what?
Frost has been stepping up for considerable amount of time now. He is the Flyers 2nd leading scorer over the last 30 games. Second only to Konecny. What makes you think that Ottawa is trading Pinto? Or are we playing fantasy hockey? - MJL
I will say Frost does deserve a chance at face offs in important times. His numbers aren’t that bad. Problem is this team is trying to make the playoffs. Anyone blaming torts for that once again doesn’t understand hockey culture. This guys job is to win not develop. If frost wants to get elite at face offs do that in the summer
No, instead I will provide just one fact that will support the fact that I gave you facts which you will not consider because you are a non-factual person. - jd250
That's a stupid statement even for you.
Here is the statement you made.
"York, Drysdale and Walker are more skilled, better skaters and have better shots than Sanheim,
You did not provide one fact to support that opinion. I can also link to your replies in response to facts that I have provided to support my opinions. Which you of course say, don't matter. You continually act like an idiot. In a recent conversation on how Staal played, I provided you with stats that showed that you were wrong. Your response was you don't care about stats. Now today I'm a non-factual person. LOL
what day do ext for seeler and walker get announced?
“And in that meeting, I said ‘You just can’t fall in love’,” Tortorella concluded. “You can’t because if you do, it’s going to set you back. We’ve got to look at the organizational view of how to do this. You’ll be friends with that player if you like him that much. You’ll be friends and you’re gonna care about him the rest of your life, but there has to be– there’s going to be some tough decisions coming along here. So, we gotta be really careful to not let our emotions get in the way of making the proper decision for the team.”
Hot and heavy rumors this evening (Pierre Lebrun) that the Laffs and Oil are after Walker. Flyers want their first rounder. Hmmm... - Phillywhiteout
Teams don’t seem to be fretting about giving up late 1sts in this draft. Edmonton is closer to the top half. I think the Flyers focus will be on getting a backup for Ersson dealing Sandstrom in the process. They’re likely to keep Seeler or Walker and dealing the one that they like least in relation to term and salary and return. My feeling is that Torts is mesmerized by Seeler with the hits and shot blocks.
Vs western conference you go for the win, yes, Ryan P and Laughton lines are playing solid hockey. Meanwhile, you put Frost with Cam again, that is like being a man down, they move Farabee who is struggling with Frost (better than Cam) and ask Frost to lift that line. All that said, in OT watching Laughton and Ryan P chase around the Blues was priceless.
I think when Tk is back, Torts will put him with Coots, hope he keeps Lycksell and sits Cam. - wcorvette
I agree with all of this but Torts is gonna torts and keep setting frost up to fail, even though he is racking up assists.
