I'm throwing this out there. Has anyone thought about the possibility of a Sam Gagner waiver claim then the NYR go all in on Guentzel? Not sure that moves the needle or what they'd have left to make other moves.

To be fair he still has 48 hours but it’s crazy all the activity right now. The pens putting a deadline on Guentzel really got things moving
