Even his AHL stats are pathetic. I was sure this meant he would shut us out tonight. |

The Sharks are obviously a terrible team, but they're exceptionally bad behind their own net. |

These games scare me not because of the trap potential, but because it sets them up for a letdown soon after. It's like beer hockey out there so you start to become a bit more relaxed, slower, less urgent. Suddenly you meet a much better team and you're still operating at 'Sharks speed'. |

Fortunately, their schedule isn't too bad over the next few games. The teams may be better than the Sharks, but not "much better".

Hysterical how the people online that don’t want Lou to trade the first round pick are pissed he hasn’t traded it yet. |

Judging by the isles first round picks in the last 2-3 decades, if they can trade the first for an impact player now I’m all for it. The common theme of the Snow era draft picks were “high character” guys which wasn’t really the recipe for success as seen by so many first round misses.
I wonder if when Lou took over the isles scouting remained the same, or if he brought in his own people. |

I still want to keep the #1 pick.
I would hope Lou brought in his own people. Lou should have totally cleaned house when he was hired. Even the hot dog vendor.

I am hoping less is more today. If they can get a bottom 6 veteran D man. I am good with that.
Not sure how much Lou will be willing to touch the forwards at this point. I do not think he is man to break up the chemistry that Roy has been feeding off of.
Unless it is an absolute no brainer of a deal. Leave it be. |

Hot dog vendor made me laugh. The coliseum used to have the absolute saltiest popcorn I’ve ever had in my life. |

Isn’t it Lou’s business model to not announce anything until the deadline? I’m not convinced that he’s not made a move until 3:01 today
