I hope it goes down and we are all waiting for the return. It’s going to be epic in here. Tom will be losing his mind lol - TPC
To me it feels like it’s taking so long because they’re working out an extension. The deal is already made. Idk. I’m very ok if it’s Kakko with and extension. |

I think he would lose it even better if Drury just held and let the deadline pass. |

Report: David Pagnotta NHL Network insider says on @937thefan that the Penguins and Rangers Jake Guentzel trade talks have "intensified".
NY's 1st round pick AND Kaapo Kakko could BOTH be in the deal.
Kakko is 23 and scored 40 pts last season. Former #2 overall pick. - Slimtj100

I still want to know what “intensify” means when they have been discussing the trade for days. Is Drury bringing in the pizza so they don’t leave till they get it done - TPC
Usually means they're close to taking it to ownership. |

I just don’t think some people realize how great of a player Guentzel is. I don’t care if he plays LW or RW. When you have someone like that on your team you are better |

well the Avalanche traded a first rounder for Sean Walker too though
if the Rangers had traded Braden Schneider I'd need to know how he was being replaced - jimbro83
They traded the 1st to Philly so they could take Ryan Johansen's contract off their books so that they could then make the trade for Mittelstadt. The Avs can swallow their pride and know when they messed up. Drury hasnt yet learned to do
that. |

The idea they haven’t thought about what they’d do while taking all this time apparently to make deal is hysterical. Like cmon man Jesus. I’m sure they have it figured out. |

For the sake of argument, if guentzel is uncomfortable switching, kreider should do it. His game has almost no reliance on what side he’s on as far as I can tell. Just be fast and get to loose pucks and then park your ass in front of the net. Be a leader |

I don't hate it but I would prefer Buch and keeping Kakko. But I'm an idiot so what do I know? |

Someone will. They have a month or two to figure it out. Bottom line is the top 6 would be as good as any in the NHL |

I said this a few years ago when they were trying Panarin with Mika and Kreider, flipping them left and right to see who would stick and neither would on the right side. |

Completely unrelated but if Drury is not trying his ass off to sign this guy and some other college free agents idk what he’s doing. This is how you restock the system - picklerick

That’s my guy. I love Keenan
The worry warts are astounding regarding this. If they get him without trading Othmann and Perrault is a huge win imo, he could play left field for all i care lol |

Unfortunately, the kid can sign with who ever he wants, so Im sure theres going to be a lot of GMs calling, especially his home town Bruins. |
