I think Krieder and Zibanajad have had it their way for quite awhile now without much challenge. Time for them to put on their big boy pants and help the team in any way they can, instead of just leading the charge to get the coach fired.

For the sake of argument, if guentzel is uncomfortable switching, kreider should do it. His game has almost no reliance on what side he’s on as far as I can tell. Just be fast and get to loose pucks and then park your ass in front of the net. Be a leader

Just have to assume if Kreider could do it, he would have moved before Laf did. In hindsight, better that Laf moved.

Really hate the idea of sending Kakko to the Pens. If he blossoms there it would be tough to watch. Same with Othmann, especially with the snarl he has. Doesn’t feel right overall, hoping for Buch or Vatrano.

Anthony Duclair. He may not play defense, but your hope is he wont have to if you do Guentzel, Mika, Duclair on a line.

Right now kakko is a top tier, cream of the crop, shutdown third line winger. Maybe one day the scoring will catch up. He’s worth every penny of his $2.1m contract though. If he’s gone it’ll be tough to replace that, but is worth it for guentzel if there’s an extension
