Still 6-7 teams with interest in Guentzel. I don't know all of them but believe VGK, Car, Fla and Van in the mix to varying degrees.
Canes offer would be prospects-based.
Panthers need price to soften.
Vegas still has '24 & '25 1st RD pick (!)
Van-Bos-Pit 3-way still possible?

This team is good enough to make a deep run and they added a 3C w/o altering the roster. That's a win to me. I don't see Guentzel coming to NY unless the staring contest makes him VERY affordable. Realistically, I see him going West. I wouldn't worry about anything until we're in a 0-3 hole in round 1. Don't forget what happened to that powerhouse Bruin team last year. It could happen to anyone. The best thing to do imo is small additions to give it a good shot w/o letting go of developing players, ala Kakko who is a bit slower to mature. We'll be fine.

This is where I am, too.
We are a good team and hard to play against. What we need most is fine tuning within our system to get the most out of our line up as it stands. And hopefully have everyone playing well at the same time for once. We haven't even seen all that this roster can be yet.

It’s just not Othman’s time yet. Like Cuylle he needed a full year in AHL.
