Im sorry but to get Vatrano and Henrique for a 1st and Kakko, Id do it. People seem to be obsessed with what can be in a year or 2. Im more concerned about today. If those were the only 2 pieces in a trade, then we have more than enough prospect depth to make up for the loss of Kakko.

I can see it now in 2 years... Kakko will still be the same kind of player, scoring 30-40 pts, and people will look back on this and think... "Damn guys, imagine we hadnt turned down Verbeek and traded Kakko for Vatrano and Henrique."

The beauty of Vatrano is he drives his own play, when he gets his shot he fires. Doesn't matter who he's playing with.

yeah, I didnt think a 1st rounder for Henrique was worth it, i would have lived with it, but the guy hasn't played in a meaningful game in a very long time
