Bother's me also. It's just plain stupid. - MJL
It is. Atkinson is a shell of himself and Deslaurier has no business being out there. That is two guys in the lineup providing zero benefit. Maybe they are praying for someone to take Atkinson at the TDL for depth and he sits after today?
I don't know how you continue to throw him out there

ginning and attard looked solid.
granted it was only 1 game, though is is why you do ot give out 4 years deals to nick seeler and the like

clearly in the coach's mind they help more than the other 2. He does not trust the other 2 is my guess as it is all about the playoffs to him. even in limited minutes he likes ND
also peeps saying florida is physical and no issue sitting brink. well is he supposed to sit against every physical big team? when is he supposed to go up against that to get the feel for how they play and the like? |

There are two upcoming games for the Flyers that I am not worried about, and they are the two games against the Leafs. I just watch the Bruins shut them down twice in the past week, both 4-1 Bruins wins. The Leafs are pathetic! The Flyers pretty much shut them down the last game they played them, just had a bad stretch in the 2nd period, which the Bruins are not prone to have. If the Flyers play their game, the Leafs are toast. All that talent, and they can be shutdown so easily. |

Thank you for the analysis doctor. I didn't think you had a job outside of HB. Nice to see you as always, even arguing with and criticizing people after a great game and nice win. I don't feel like back-reading, but did you provide us with your usual schtick about what a strong game Frosty played? I didn't notice him much but I'm sure you clocked every second he was on the ice. How much did ND's 6-7 minutes spoil the game? Again, what kid would you like to see develop and benefit from NDs ice time? - Don Nachbaur
I absolutely love it! I'm sure he will tell us Frost had the highest xGF on the team and generated the most scoring chances, in another game where he got 0 points and the Poehling line dominated.

I agree 100% that this team will scare the $hit out of teams in the playoffs.
I don't say that in terms of them beating a team, though they certainly could do that. What SHOULD scare the $hit out of them is that whoever they play is going to get worn down to the nub in a knock down, drag out fight that will hurt them moving forward. - MBFlyerfan
Absolutely right, in tennis circles we call these types of players draw killers. |

Yes….
And Hartnell hair cut is bad even for a six year old that’s has his mom save the 12$ to cut it herself. - landros 2
So true, once a man gets over 40 and fattens up, he's got to ditch the grammar school haircut.

The thing with the flyers. That game could look the same playing the sharks. Scraping by scratching and clawing for a 2-1 win |

Stanley cup teams ice physically larger than average defensemen. Forwards there’s no size correlation. Read an article about it. - Just5 It was proven in last year's Finals. Florida depends on a hard forecheck to generate much of their offense. That BIG Vegas defense basically shut them down. So agreed, having size and physicality on defense is still very important in this day and age of hockey. Very impressed with the kids last night and especially liked when Ginning laid out their top scorer right in front of their bench!! |

I agree they need to get Brink in against bigger physical teams like FLA…I just said I understand why ND would be in the lineup against that team. |

I thought Frost generated some nice plays last night and helped generate some solid O-zone plays. He was engaged and noticeably involved. When he plays like that I still have hope he can become what the Flyers need….a decent offensive Center on a consistent basis. |

Haven’t forward read anything, so I’m asking……didn’t Ginning say he wanted to go back to Sweden, or something like that?
Also, what the f@ck is up w Hartnell’s hair. Did he lose a bet?!?! - Hokeeguy9
He did because he was stuck playing in the AHL. He could go home and makemore money there in the Swedish leagues. |

That is a ballsy win last night. They need another player who can provide offense. Briere should reward this group by bringing in someone who can help them make the playoffs. Trading a pick today is hardly mortgaging the future. |

The Panthers have 3 losses in their last 19 games. Two of them are on home ice to the Flyers. Briere got his first round pick yesterday. He needs to do something for this years team today. |

He had no hits in the game and I didn't think he was engaged. He played that one 2 on 1 horribly when he refused to even look at the net. He telegraphed the pass which was easily broken up by the defender. I think he shies away against the more physical teams just like he did in the St. Louis game.

I thought he was engaged but provided nothing offensively. His defensive game has been good lately and his offense has been poor. And I’m talking the last few games. |
