I dont see it, even frost unless they get a center back which is a guess posisble.
not a chance they move Laughton. they can sell the fake rebuild (got a 1st) and playoffs all at the same time. they owe the room that much..... |

Interested to see how Bunting looks alongside Sid. Guy's already proven in TO that he can keep up with great players. And Sid always elevates everybody that plays with him.
Also will be interesting to see if Guentzel can maintain his level w/o Sid. - Tomahawk
He played good with great players in Toronto….I think he might be solid. |

Personally I would call it the D&Bs line for Richard and Balls line

I absolutely love it! I'm sure he will tell us Frost had the highest xGF on the team and generated the most scoring chances, in another game where he got 0 points and the Poehling line dominated. - jd250
First of all, lets talk about schticks. Above is an example of yours. Childish rhetoric and bias to further show that you have a complete inability to properly assess any player. You reinforce that daily with your posts that are inaccurate, uninformed and completely unsupported by the facts.
Last night's game was a tight checking low offensive event game. Especially in the 2ne and 3rd period. While Frost did not have a good offensive game, not many players did. He played aggressively, made a few plays and played well away from the puck. Non elite offensive players are not going to put points up every game. Yet that is your foolish expectation. If we look at a larger sample of games, which is the best way to look at a player. Over the last 30 games, Frost has registered 4 goals and 17 assists for 21 points. One of the Flyers leading scorers over that time period.
Now lets compare Poehling, who you obviously like better than Frost. This is not a knock on Poehling. He is a hard nosed player who skates well and plays competitively every game. His offensive totals are acceptable for the level of player that he is. Although he does not compare to Frost. The issue is that he is overplayed by the coach. He is ideally a 4th line center. His totals over the last 30 games in 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points.
Now lets look at their overall play in comparison for the season.
Frost P/60 2.24 GA/60 1.73 GF% 57.78
Poehling P/60 1.49 GA/60 2.51 GF% 42
As we see, Frost is significantly better both offensively and defensively than Poehling is. The issue is not that you like or see Poehling as a good player for his role. He is. The issue is that due to your bias against Frost. Mostly to try and childishly get at me, you don't see him for the player he is. Combined with your inability to asses anything in the sport. We have daily proof of that in your posting
In conclusion, what we see here in comparison between you and I, is that I offer an informed and accurate opinion backed up by the facts. That's my schtick. While you offer rhetoric, childishness and a complete lack of the facts. I'll await your asinine response of watch the game or insinuating that I've never played the game.

Couple thoughts-
some say there are multiple prospects that could top out as a #1 D in this draft. I know it would be difficult to trade up but if you look at the potential teams that will pick in the top 10, you could target teams that are deep in D prospects.
ND, we know he is going to play, but it has to clear to Torts, KEEP HATHAWAY AWAY FROM ND. |

That trade for Guentzel is even worse than I thought. They didn't even get a 1st. Its really our old 2nd and only becomes a 1st if they make the final. Plus they only get the 5th if Carolina wins the cup.
So 4 middling prospects and a 2nd for Guentzel and Ty Smith.
They wrecked their franchise when they traded for Karlsson. Dubas needs to go....
I hope he doesn't because I am going to love watching the Penguins suffer. - MBFlyerfan
It's pretty clear. Just as I expected, Dubas approach is a complete failure. They had to trade one of the best wingers in he game for a middling return. Hextall was a better GM for them as expected.

Hopefully, Bill feels better today. He's been angry lately.
BTW Ginning has been good on the Phantoms. Seen a few games recently including their 2-1 lose last Sat night and he was an absolute beast. He seems like he can play in this league as a 6. |

Frost provided zero offense last night - ClaudeFather
Frost played better than most of the forwards on the team. Including Tippett, Foerster and Atkinson. Only Hathaway, Poehling and Cates among the forwards provided any offense last night. Why are you and others singling out Frost?

Oh, so you're just like your buddy. Totally classless loser when you got nuthin. I could bring your wife into this, but I'm not a lowlife like you. Enjoy yet another day of whining on here. So glad I'm gonna miss all your worthless drivel. By the way, who pisses in your Cheerios every morning? - Phillywhiteout
You've provide tons of evidence between last night and today that you're a lowlife.
Including being so tone deaf and personally unaware that you're over in the Pens thread trolling. |

Hextall was a better GM for them as expected. - MJL has nothing to do with Hexy or Dubas although I do think Dubas must have pictures of somebody as his body of work is dreadful. The issue is the plan or lack there of set forth by the previous and new ownership. Anyone with half a brain knew they needed to retool with Crosby. Malkin should have been traded before he came up as a UFA and move on from Latang as well. Need to have courage sometimes and now they double down on that rover who plays hockey like a spoiled brat kid on the pond that does not pass. Hexy was avg there just like here. At least here he had 100% absolute control. He owned his wins and loses. In Pitt, he was shackled. If they had guts they would move Malkin today. |

Plus Pens retained salary, I also don't see Bunting as a prospect...3rd NHL team in a year.

I said that Frost played better than Foerster. I don't think other than a few players that anyone on the Flyers played poorly. It was a low event grinding type of game.

I agree in putting it on management but Hextall was smart enough to know where the team really was and didn't deplete the future to try and win. Pens made those moves including getting Karlsson and they're actually worse this year in overall league standings than last season.
