Don’t be mad that I have a good job and on a slow day can comment. Now get back to the deli, the customers are waiting.
- ClaudeFather

Cliff? Go back to the Deli? You even weirdly made fun of me for staying home during my week off to work on my house instead of taking a vacation.

So basically you’ve adopted all of “Hello it’s me” insults and are reusing them. That’s not even remotely sad.

I didn’t know this. The lottery has only been around as long as Crosby has been a Penguin.

Anthony Di Marco
@ADiMarco25
PHI is looking for a forward (and maybe a defenseman) to add on the cheap.

Don't get the sense that there's an appetite to move a significant asset, but they're definitely bargain shopping to bolster their depth.

Then even more reason to walk. Seeler is not worth almost $3 per..threatening to want more over a shorter contract is absurd.

This is Nick Freakin Seeler...dime a dozen player in my books.

SO he has his contract and now no more Walker for him...I wasn't expecting the Flyers to resign him the last time, let alone again.

Way too much for a 3rd pairing/ 7th dman. It doesn't matter what spot he plays on the Flyers, can any of us really say with a straight face" Nick Seeler is a top 4 dman!!".

Horrible contract in my opinion.

- TheFreak

Seeler is HUGE in Coach & GM, President Torts eyes.

Oh good dumpster diving. That's what we need more hard working grinders.

Meanwhile they're paying 4M prorated for a forward that can add depth but they don't even want to give him a chance.

We need another grinder so we can cut down on the minutes that Frost plays. Someone to help Deslauriers with the fisticuffs maybe.

So what's the feeling about a Laughton move?
Will anyone offer a first for him?
Will Danny take less than a first?

- FlyersGrace

Right now they are facing Carolina in the first round. They need every swinging richard available on the ice.

Flyers will claim Lemieux. Have to make sure that he brings good culture though. Have to put culture before skill and talent on a rebuilding team apparently!

lot of coin to bury in LHV for the rest of this year and next. If an expiring deal no biggie. not as great a deal as it seemed. Assuming he is buried in the minors for the duration.

Him and Cal 2 buyout candidates. Comcast needs that playoff revenue!!!

This Johansen thing is much to do about nothing. Getting the 1st is the important thing.

The culture should come before the skill on a rebuilding team. Going to take a few years to get the skill where we want it. Seems he is getting the culture down pat faster than i thought. We needed the culture in a better spot when we had the skill....ie. Giroux and Jake. You say yourself how awesome jake was, one of the tops in the league, but it didnt get us very far did it.
- bradster

You really gonna blame Jake (and Claude) when Andrew MacDonald was playing top-pair minutes, Elliott/Neuvirth/Mrazek were in net, and none of the secondary scoring could contribute beyond 40-points?

Culture barely matters when you don't have the talent to win the games. The top teams all have multiple HOF forwards, Norris-trophy dmen and Vezina-level goaltenders. There's no way any of the Flyers teams over the past 15-years could measure up.

So as I asked you before, who on the Phantoms do you think would benefit from a call-up and play on the 4th line while also helping the rebuild? I don't watch the Phantoms nor do I follow them much, so I'd like to know.

You're a better man then I am to try and deal with that silliness. I only have so much band width to deal with it and I'm fully booked.

No, I didn't include him because they can use LTIR to replace him. So add 6.25M to that if you care to.

Nope it is all Giroux's fault. He was the captain. He had the power to make the entire roster more talented but chose not to.

I think they are going to buy out RyJo. Torts hates that dude. I would not be surprised to see RyJo, Peterson and Atkinson all bought out. So that number will 100% go up.
