Per Frank Seravalli the Rangers are a team to watch for Max Pacioretty. He does have a no-trade clause so he will have final decision on where he goes. If he does want to move to New York, he could come on a discount #NYR

One additional year. At 50%, it could be worth a flier. But its a move I wouldnt make a huge investment in. Id only do it if it didnt cost us much. If for the sake of making the trade pallatable to the Caps, I give them a ton of conditions that could get them more out of it.

1. Kuzy plays atleast 75% of remaining games including playoffs AND…
2. Kuznetsov averages atleast 0.5 PPG including playoffs AND…
3. Rangers reach ECF or SCF, I dunno.

This way, it protects us from getting just a body to put on the ice. If he comes in and starts scoring, and gets Mika to start scoring and all of those conditions are met, Im happy to give them a 1st.

I get it but not all them are available probably. Toffoli I’d love but I’d be stunned if NJ did that.

I’d give Nj a first and Berard or something

in 2017 first round vs Montreal, I remember it being a big deal that the Rangers held Pacioretty to 0 goals in that series on 28 shots on net

A fundamental difference between those two is that one is actually an insider and the other oscillates between copying and pasting insider tweets and making stuff up and saying it's from a source
