We just need a good RW to drive play and keep up with kreids ... Buch Or Bust! - mdw7413
Patches over Zucker I think. He’s kind of local guy like Quick. Maybe he’d relish the opportunity. We know that guys like being Rangers |

Rather do nothing then get Patches - mdw7413
So you are saying a career long LW 35 yr. old on two rubber bands for Achilles tendons with a 4 mill cap hit is a bad idea? Then again.....it just might work? Ya never know what a guy can bring for a playoff run

No, not now. Not ever going forward. - blacksheep1
Which is why we dont give up much, why hes 50% retained, why theres so many conditions on the trade.
Patches is one swift breeze away from having another LBI. I dont know if he can withstand the rigors of a playoff run. Durability is the name of the game there. |

so you'd rather someone durable in this scenario (kuz) that doesnt score, get's scored on, and brings basically nothing to the table at either end of the ice?
i can't believe were talking about these two.

A team that takes itself seriously should consider trading for Pacioretty or Kuznetsov. |

I think TJ has a better chance of taking the ice as a NY Ranger than Kuznetsov does |

Insane. Imagine better another Goodrow? because that is what Kutznetsov is now, but worse. |

Stan Fischler
@StanFischler
It's D-Day for the #NYR
While Vatrano is realistic, No. 87 in Pittsburgh may be the perfect fit at the right time on Broadway.
I’ve seen Gretzky make the move, and with Pitt sinking, anything is possible. Now, or this summer.

Look, I dont think either is a great idea. However when were considering trading multiple 1st or multiple of our top prospects or a combination of the 2 in a scenario that is looking kind of bleek… and the alternative is a 4th for Kuzy 50% retained, Id kinda give it a shot. |
