Probably. But he could play a heavy game in a bottom six if he bought in. He’s got to realize that he’s almost out of chances. - Minnyhock
If he dresses and scores a couple of goals off the hop I think Torts might be inclined to work with him. Otherwise, he seems like the type of guy that Torts will write off completely at first sight. Not a lot of defensive IQ and effort. |

Remember this and see you in 9 games. Tampa made moves, Isles seems poised to take 3rd in the Met. Detroit? Not sure, here we go.

I mean, who cares? The left the trade deadline with an additional first round pick. The rest is gravy now. |

yes they would as they said as much. anything else? - hello it's me 2050
I could say it too. Doesn’t make it true. A 4th was an overpay for him. Flyers could say they were stashing him in LHV and Buffalo wasn’t going to take less from someone else to make sure he was happy. That’s just bad business. |

He has a big contract with a lot of term I think. He's a really underrated player though. |

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports the Golden Knights are sending a 2025 first-round pick, forward David Edstrom, a 2025 third-round pick and a 2027 third-rounder. Dreger adds the Sharks will retain 17 per cent of Hertl's salary, bringing his cap hit to $6.75 million. |

Unbelievable how Vegas with no prospects and always trading their picks gets marquee players with $$$. That LTIR is really something. Stone (who is legitimately injured) will miraculously return for the playoffs. |

A first, couple of thirds and a prospect. Sharks retained salary - TheFreak
If true that is embarrassing for them. Retain salary for over 6 years and that's the return? Is San Jose planning on moving soon?
Something just seems VERY NFL here.

I hope the Flyers use one or both of these 1st rounders this year to acquire known commodities that fit into the age structure going on here. These 2 picks really are not that great and I would be willing to let another team dream and throw darts. There are weak franchises that could be taken advantage of. I was hoping it would happen today but hopefully at the draft they get bold |
