The way I see it, if they keep performing well and the way Johnson has played doesn’t make it a lock either has completely lost their spot.

That said, it feels a little like they are trying the ole “be competitive and rebuild at the same time” plan. I hope we don’t look back five years from now and say man, why did they have to win so many games that year, it stopped them from a full tear down.

The “unreliable” (lol) Di Marco has absolutely crushed the deadline coverage for the Flyers. By far the best out there in terms of insider info for the team this year.

bottom line is I doubt they told him he will not play much. He will play unless he just flat out stinks. then maybe he comes out.

so comparing the 2 is a bad comparison.

One of the great benefits of the Flyers making the playoffs is that the young players will get playoff experience. Of course some of them won't be playing in the playoffs if the Flyers make it.
