[quote=DirtyDan]That first do something is tough cause frankin Skinner.
Skinner - sit him 82 games
Send anywhere and retain 100% but send him.
The Skinner curse is real. We will never make the playoffs with him opn the team. I sure do wish I am wrong.

Said this before the season started. Can't see UPL commanding to much with only 1 good season. - DirtyDan
Have to gamble and hope he doesn't regress, but I think it's worth it personally. 4-5 years? If we don't buy UFA years and give him a chance to cash in again, might be able to get him at a reasonable cost. He hasn't really got paid yet, so he might play hard ball too...don't know. |

Bills have agreed to terms with WR Mack Hollins, formerly of the Falcons, on a one-year deal worth up to $3 million.
Hollins will presumably be the Bills’ Gabe Davis replacement after Davis signed with Jacksonville in free agency. A massive boundary wideout, Hollins caught just 18 passes for 251 scoreless yards in 2023 with the run-heavy Falcons. In 2022, he posted career numbers with the Raiders: 57 receptions, 690 yards, and four touchdowns. Unless Buffalo drafts a starting receiver, Hollins, 30, will likely be an every-down player for the Bills in 2024. That alone should make him fantasy relevant in deeper formats.
STINKS - SABRES 89
Wonder what this means for Shakir, believe Hollins is more of a slot WR |

In my mind no. Ollie is gone - no need to worry about him.
Joker could move on but I do not hate his game and I think he could be a piece that moves up or down as Byram helps Dahlin or Power, depending on the situation. Saw that movement last night (whether intended or not).
Dahlin - not sure why you included him.
Tage - I was actually hoping he sat put the Thursday before the trade deadline because they thought they had a deal in place. Depending on the return, I would not have hated it.
Girgs - in a certain role, I don't hate. I do not care for Meatballs thinking he is versatile. |

So, you are saying there is a chance!
I went to the game last night. I have no idea who those teams were. The Sabres looked good and the Red Wings look like they should have the best odds for the number one pick.
Positive note: the place was packed with Red Wing fans and they were silent except for the first goal. It was so nice that the Sabres and the loud fans shut them up. We had a home atmosphere here, in Buffalo.

Nobody and I mean nobody was predicting that UPL would become what he has.
Not even the Buffalo Sabres.
The Sabres are still giving up crazy amounts of high danger chances. UPL like you mentioned decided that he wanted to come to play this year.
Issue he is due a contract next year. At this point I can’t see anything less than $4.5M if not 5M if he keeps this up.
What do you do? - ImThatGuy
I literally am on the record saying he might be goalie Tage Thompson. So enough with this. I was very supportive of the 3 goalie rotation but specifically wanted UPL > Comrie > Levi.
I also was the first one pumping the Mittelstadt drum as far back as December 2022.
Also said I didn’t hate the Byram trade.
People just blow past my posts though because all I do is troll or something but honestly haven’t trolled since a certain green blur disappeared, weird. |

Sabres are 7 points behind, and Tampa has a game in hand.
Tampa is 7 points clear, with their top 5 goaltender not playing anywhere near his normal level.
What does that say about their overall roster?
Where would the Sabres be in the standings if they had goaltending like Tampa has had this season?
Thems the facts. - kingcong39
I'm not telling you who has the better players. The only thing I'm telling you is that they are separated by 3 wins, and that means more to the Lightning than it does to the Sabres.

what better metaphor of a player do we have for this team?
Vastly underperforms his draft position
Entire tenure out of the playoffs
Despite being a 1st round pick in a team filled to the brim with 1st round picks, still failing
Leads the PWWTBH parade
Just when he gets going on the ice, wipes out
This guy right here? That my friends is your captain. Captain of the failboat.

Malkin, Letang both should be traded in the offseason. Karlsson should be traded. Even if they tank a year, Sid will be there to mentor any kid that they end up with. He’s a lifer. |

you know washed, I disagreed with you on the premise of returning guys like Zemgus and Kyle this past summer. I wasn't excited about it, but I accepted it because they performed last year.
I've changed my opinion to the side of, why do we continue to bring back perpetual failure and players who don't move needles. Why can't we have leaders who produce results, regardless of offense or defense ability?
Why the (frank) are we spending over 3 million celeries on an obviously, objectively washed player in Erik Johnson?
Kevyn is a cuck because he brings back players that Terry likes, regardless of impact. |
