Once this team ices more skilled players, Korchinski, with his passing skills will put up some points. TBH, I didn’t know that KK was such a good passer before the season started, the guy is tape to tape on short and semi long passes consistently. - Angotti
If only there was a guy on the team who could receive a pass, then you'd have something...............

Macklin Celebrini's ranking among all NCAA skaters (32GP):
1st - Points-per-game (1.69)
2nd - Points (54)
2nd - Goals (29)
4th - Shots (153)
4th - PPGs (11)
All while being the youngest player in college hockey. Just.. wow.

Zayne Parekh (2024) has 31 goals and 86 points in 60 games this season.
That leads all OHL draft-eligible skaters in goals and points.
He’s a defenseman.

Celebrini and Jiricek in the first round works for me, then trade one of the young defensemen, and sign a free agent forward or two. That will do it for me this offseason. If Celebrini is not there, then I’ll take Lindstrom and Jiricek. |

I saw Parekh play a few weeks ago and I’ve been following him on TV ever since. Unbelievable talent, there’s a good possibility he can get to 40 goals and over 100 points. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him crack the top five. He’s feisty and won’t back down from anyone but he has allot to learn on the defensive side of the puck. |

Does he have a history of concussions?

I think I'd be okay with this guy, if Wiz and this analysis is on target. We need a another guy who can put the puck in the net.

I don’t know? He didn’t play a full season in the OHL last year but I can’t find a reason for it and I can’t find any injury history. He did get suspended earlier this year for allegedly spitting on an opponent. |

I don’t see the Hawks being in on any of them. Teams that want to win will pick them up. Hawks in FA will end up with the Anthony Duclair, Alex Weinberg, Thomas Tatar or whatever else third level free agents are out there. Especially if KFC will not offer any term. - LAHawk
Agreed but who needs term when you're getting paid three years in one. |

Celebrini and Jiricek could be the most desired outcome. If the Hawks don’t draft #1 I’d be ok with Eiserman and Jiricek. |

If Demidov, instead of Jiricek, is still on the board, cause you know he's Russian, do you draft him? Michcov did fall all the way to 7th. |

Does he play defense, Dots? God damned right he does. Kid is a hockey player, not a centerman who needs to play wing in his own zone cuz he hurts his team less there .... You follow Robinson, Dots? Do so and you'll be wrong a lot less than you usually are. |

I think he's more of a Toews or Bergeron comp. High motor, 200 ft game (already) and should be good for 65-80 points when he figures out the NHL.
Not "huge" but 6'0 and 190 as a 17 year old isn't tiny. By the time he's in his 20s he should be a solid 200 ish .
Bergeron was 6'1 and listed as 195 and Toews was 6'2 and listed at around 200. I don't think the missing inch or two is going to make a difference in his ability to play a heavier game like those two did. Bergeron played a long time and was pretty durable even though he wasn't built like a brick poop house.
A very nice change of pace player to compliment Bedard. |

And, he's a right shot. ..... Been watching this kid. Would not surprise me at all if he's the first Dman off the board if a guy with balls like Stevie Y is up, let alone the 3rd or 5th Dman drafted in a monstrous draft for Dmen.
And if you read Parekh can't play D, or is a bum in his zone, read another evaluator. No Shea Weber in his zone but already better than Karlsson or Boqvist in his zone. |

Whom is your choice or prediction to win the Art Ross (scoring title)?
Your choice could be who you want to win, whereas your prediction is whom you say will actually win
Today following Edmonton mattinee affair McDavud has crept dangerously close into the thick of a three way chase
McKinnon 111
Kucherov 107
McDavid 103
LATE ADD
* I believe that Blackhawks have no games remaining vs each player’s team |

For someone who you say is bad in his zone -Boqvist - and LA Hawk fan didn’t appear to give him much credit in his defending in the Columbus game vs us recently - nonetheless Boqvist has more TOI the past month + than previously in his career (Roughly 20:00 +) |

Kid has the look, Chunk. Can really read a play in all 3 zones, quickly jumps on opportunities, knows what to do with them and can finish getting fancy or shooting the thing.
And, has the IQ to control pace. ..... This kid is gonna keep a lotta GM's up at night until he's off the board.

J, I walk with a cane and can defend all but Bedard, with my rusty bent goalie skates on, from the Hawks!!
Edit: that game v CHI was the first time Boqvist did not disgust me. Maybe he can be of some use in the NHL. Doubt it, but maybe. |
