I know that it isn't because a majority of people agree on something that they're necessarily right, but you're literally the only one I've heard saying he's overpaid... shouldn't that tell you something? |

those are true pads. they were actually the first ones on the website where i was making all those gear designs the other day. i could have changed the colors on his pads too.
they are better than primeau's pads. although i see ambition in primeau's pads, just poor execution. |

I guess on the website you can order the exact model a certain goalie is wearing..?
also, thoughts on Torts being fined 50k and getting a 2 game suspension? unless he threatened to literally kill someone I find it's completely ridiculous. |

i barely followed the situation but he must've said something pretty harsh. i think him not leaving the bench is a big part of it too.
i think the team said they're paying his fine so they must agree with whatever it was he said. |

I just think the fine and suspension is totally exaggerated when you compare it to what players can get for a dangerous play... if I'm a flyers fan I think I'd rally behind the coach and management supporting him.
heck, even when refs are caught red-handed admitting that they're looking for a penalty to even things out while their mic is on, they have zero consequences lol. |

Coaches do not have a CBA.
NHL is somewhat limited towards players, but a player suspended for 2 games is likely losing about the same salary.
also, Trots is an bumhole, so whatever. |

but players in average are making much more than coaches... and even if Torts is a total jerk, it's an issue when refs have the power to kick someone out of a game while they have complete immunity. |

Meh.
Don't be an bumhole and you don't get kicked out.
He was likely warned. He decided to keep going. His own fault.
He has been coaching long enough to know better.

Suspended for 1 game is about $12,000 per million in salary.

I think that kind of depends on what exactly was said. your logic is under the assumption that refs never abuse of their authority, which would be naive imho. |
