I was 7 at the time, and I vaguely remember the game. While we were center ice, we were high up in the old forum.
The 2 things I do remember was the cloud of cigarette smoke hanging in the air around our cheap seats and asking my dad why there was no play-by-play like we see on TV - I had just assumed that that was also heard when sitting in the stands.
But hey, I got to see the great Rejean Houle score 2 goals.... |

Plays center, big boy at 6.4” 220lbs. Injured since December but he was having a great year…upper body injury.. should return soon. Yeah! Would be nice if he was still available when we pick.

Reminds me of when I went to go and see my very first Habs game with my family. I was the biggest Patrick Roy fan in the world, made a hand drawn poster of his mask and everything.....got there and Red (frank)ing Light Racicot played instead.

The first Habs player autograph I got as a kid was given to me by my grandma. She didn't wanted to tell me who it was before she gave it to me. So it turned out to be Ryan Walter that she met at some event.
And my grandma said: "Look, he wrote you a special message behind the picture"
It was a bible verse. Walter was a born again christian.
I believe this was my face
