Ror perhaps? - Boss34

Funny part is. Marty and duff usually aren’t able to give their actual thoughts.
Towing the company line. Thag is the closest it’s going to get
Also the back to back Marty comment is lazy. The team clearly isn’t in good enough shape or don’t know how to handle back to back games
They looked dead. Maybe sleep more during the day or something idk - Sabretooth9
You hear Duffer light into Marty about talking too much and not answering questions during the pregame? Was kinda funny. Marty does like to ramble. |

Yep, and Savoie who could also potentially be a center - lulags
I still think he's a couple years off. He's got to learn to play a more well rounded game and not rely on transition so much to produce. |
|

I think having Mitts 2.0 in the pipeline helps with that too.

I think it's great 3C insurance on Krebs.
If you don't think Tage is a C, then they have a big hole. I don't feel that way though, and they clearly don't.

He's been slumping pretty hard since he arrived in Vancouver. Sure he's worth the coin?
7 pts in 20 games since being traded
1 pt in his last 5 |

So 12-0 to finish huh? - QuinnFan
They need a 12-0-1 run in the last 12 games, lol |

Okay, so 25pts out of a possible 24...where are the doubters? Let me at em!!! |

They need a minimum of 3 points in Alberta.
Vancouver last night was the sole regulation loss they could take on the trip. - Swedish_Jesus
3 digs a deeper hole, but doesn't completely kill them. Might take a 9-1 finish after that. |

Lets hope Ostlund is a tad better than a player who couldn't do a pull-up, struggled significantly for 4+ years as a pro only then to learn that working out helps....then play at a ~ 60 point pace on bottom 10 teams and get traded away... |

Serious issues that need to be addressed
No real first line center
Tage is not going to ever repeat last year
Benson is too small
We will likely bring back this entire team minus Olofsson - lulags
Tkachuk - Stamkos - Tuch
Peterka - Cozens - Quinn
Benson - Kulich - Rosen
Girgs - Krebs - Robinson
Jost
Byram - Dahlin
Power - Samuelson
Johnson - Clifton
Bryson
UPL
Levi
That's a playoff team.
Stamkos in FA
Tage, '24-1st, Joker for Tkachuk, '24-3rd

Anything can happen when he makes the transition to NA, but he's got the pNHLe of a top6 forward. High end 2C or low end 1C right now. Should be able to fill a hole.

A top 20 pick is considered insurance for the 3rd line...before he even makes the trip over the pond...got to love this drafting is good narrative.

I'm not so sure, but the later round picks in his drafts already do appear to be so.
Still have a lot of faith in Kulich, Rosen and Ostlund. Strbak and Wahlberg look pretty decent, may be something there. Outside of them it's a lot of lotto tickets. Novikovs of the world.

Imagine a ROR type centering Tage and Tuch. Takes the attention away from Tage and all of a sudden, he’s open all the time.

SHL is roughly equivalent to the AHL. NHLe says it's better. He's coming over with some good XP and a lot of momentum from this season.
Imagine Krebs starts as 3C next season, but it might not end that way.

Levi doubters, his performance yesterday should give them pause in saying he isn't ready. - RhinoFan
False, he let in 2 goals. If he only lets in 1, Buffalo wins.
I did this correct, I think. |

Yea im pretty tired of it
Nothing against the prospects but not one of them should be off limits in a deal to make the team better now and no one should be counting on any of them to fix our problems next year
The team needs a mittelstadt level veteran two way center and the most likely outcome is another rookie into the lineup

Nail on the head. I'd suggest to waive Levi, but seeing as he's exempt, we should trade him while he's still worth the 7th rounder he was picked with. |

I think the attributes provided by these prospects are already on the NHL roster, they are not the solution to the Sabres needs, making them busts. |

If that's the case, what are the traits you're looking for? I assume it's a heavy game or something to that affect, or am I assuming incorrectly? |

The problem with trading them now, after Adams loaded up the on the same type of prospect...is that the entire league knows he needs to move them...reducing their returns...making the waiting to trade them even worse.
