And please tell your friends that we are laughing at them for supporting a team that has Epically Sucked for over a decade despite having multiple number 1 picks and picking in the top 10 just about every year! Good job Buffalo! - jd250
You support a team that has sucked for over a decade! LOL. At least Buffalo is smart enough to know how to acquire top draft picks. What a complete lack of self awareness you have to laugh at anyone.
You supported a fool GM and claimed he put the team on the path to the cup.

Points in 3 of 10 Cliff, lot of losses in those 10 games. He’s been bad. - ClaudeFather
I disagree. He has not been bad. Points are not the only measure of a player. He has 6 points in the last 10 games.
You dodged the question of if you would have preferred he not have produced in the SJ game and the Flyers had lost?

Frost had a great game against San Jose, how about we see him do it now in the next 7 games also? - jd250
Your expectations are out of whack.

Except for TK, they all seem to have their disappearing moments. For some reason Frost is held to a higher standard. - mr4tno
Because next to TK, Frost is probably the most skilled player in the lineup, and has demonstrated that from time to time this year, so yes, he is held to a higher standard. As Torts has stated and I agree with, once you show what you can do we want to see it consistently.

Tippett is not skilled on a higher level? How do you explain then that Tippett was drafted 10th overall and Frost was drafted 27th?
Did Torts tell you what time he is going to take a crap today? |

Why are you mentioning Tippet? We are talking about Frost and the standard he appears to be held to. And BTW, Frost was drafted 27th, not 23rd.
I will ignore your childish and embarrassing statement after that. |

LOL, can't figure that out can you!
You stated that next to Konecny, Frost is the most talented player. As usual , you're unaware of the facts. Tippett was drafted 10th overall and Frost 27th. In the same draft, fool! |

Hmmm .. out of whack ... OK .. so I shouldn't expect Frost to play the kind of noticeable and assertive game against the good teams coming up on the Flyers schedule? |

Ok, noted .. I should not expect Frost to play a great game (equivalent to the game he played against San Jose) against the good teams coming up on the Flyers schedule. |

What the hell does where they were drafted have anything to do with their skill level?? You make no sense, just argue for the sake of arguing. |

What is "great" in your eyes?

What is the consensus here? Are they going to make the playoffs or not ?
I say they will just miss it by a small margin. This team isn't the same without Walker (and Seeler). And they lost some speed when they traded Walker. There are too many changes in the lineup and the replacements don't have (talent or) chemistry yet to say they will play the kind of defense needed to win many points against the upcoming gauntlet in their schedule. |

Ask me in 6 games... This next gauntlet of 8 games is going to be very telling.
My heart says they squeeze in cuz they deserve it but my head thinks you may be right and they just miss. |

I think when he says “Points in 3 of 10”, he’s including multi point games as 1.

Since the deadline I think they lost too much on the back end to make it. They’ll just miss. They squeaked out a win vs sj and got destroyed by Tampa. The sched is too tough coming up and they could lose all 7 realistically |

So you don't understand that the more talented player with the higher skill level normally gets drafted higher? My goodness it's worse than I thought. Maybe they thought that Tippett has better hair? |

Again, another illustration of your lack of knowledge. If you're expectations are that Frost plays great every game. Yes, your expectations are out of whack.

I’m wondering when Sandstrom’s next start is through this scary schedule. I personally would have started him against San Jose but after watching the way the team showed up, I guess I’m glad we put the sure thing in net and took the two points. - roenick97
Probably next weekend when there is a back to back. Both home games but it's Boston and Florida so pick your poison. |

I'd like to see them make the playoffs, but you said it all right here. I was just talking to someone yesterday and said the same thing about Seeler and Walker. No, they aren't superstars, but they made a difference on the back end. I don't see how this team will be able to keep up over the next few weeks. The way that Torts has had them playing all year can only hold up for so long, and now there are injuries on top of it. I hope I'm wrong, but I think they will just miss as well.

No legit question? The early returns on this past draft look really good and they have a bunch a picks over the next two drafts to add to the pool. The new regime hasn’t really done anything stupid yet so I think it’s ok to have some optimism. - psuhockey
There's the operative word: "yet."
This past TDL hasn't given me a lot of faith moving forward. They'll always put winning above rebuilding. |
