You support a team that has sucked for over a decade! LOL. At least Buffalo is smart enough to know how to acquire top draft picks. What a complete lack of self awareness you have to laugh at anyone.

You supported a fool GM and claimed he put the team on the path to the cup.

- MJL

I guess you are in the same boat then, since apparently you support the same team I do .. oooops!

What is "great" in your eyes?
- mickel25

I defined it in parenthesis so to not be ambiguous. Just play as noticeable and assertive against the teams coming up as Frost did against San Jose. Should be an easy bar to hit, right?

Since the deadline I think they lost too much on the back end to make it. They’ll just miss. They squeaked out a win vs sj and got destroyed by Tampa. The sched is too tough coming up and they could lose all 7 realistically
- Hextall271

Yea the Tampa game and SJ games are not good signs of things to come. I'm hopeful they somehow win 2 out of 7 - maybe split with the Leafs and Bruins and get an OTL in there somewhere. Just trying to be optimistic!

So you don't understand that the more talented player with the higher skill level normally gets drafted higher? My goodness it's worse than I thought. Maybe they thought that Tippett has better hair?
- MJL

Is that always the case? Point was drafted in the 3rd round, Kucherov in the second round, Pastrnak mid 20s in the first round. So draft position really doesn't matter in the end, does it?

There's the operative word: "yet."

This past TDL hasn't given me a lot of faith moving forward. They'll always put winning above rebuilding.

- Pelle31Forever

Not for nothing but they traded perhaps their best (statistically) d-man in the middle of a playoff push. That is not a traditional Flyers move.

I wanted more trades but I think they maximized the biggest asset at the TDL.

Honestly, TK is the biggest barometer of this team's direction. If they trade him then I think they are truly trying to rebuild this team. If they sign him to an 8 year deal it is typical Flyers. TK is a really good player that should be traded in for assets. The Flyers have pretty good talent at wing right now with Michkov on the way.

No, I actually know what I'm talking about. Again today, your posting has been a pile of compost and ridiculousness.

Again, another illustration of your lack of knowledge. If you're expectations are that Frost plays great every game. Yes, your expectations are out of whack.
- MJL

Ok everyone, so MJL has in writing confirmed that we should not expect Frost to play as well as he did against San Jose in the next 7 games against top teams. Got it!

It certainly matter swhen looking at overall skill and talent. A player doesn't always use that skill and talent to the best of their ability. Give some facts on what makes Frost more skilled then Tippett then.

Depends on what you mean by noticeable. I believe your version of noticeable is closer to "hit sumbuddy" than it is to playing center well at both ends and putting up points at a 2-3rd center line clip.

What is the consensus here? Are they going to make the playoffs or not ?

I say they will just miss it by a small margin. This team isn't the same without Walker (and Seeler). And they lost some speed when they traded Walker. There are too many changes in the lineup and the replacements don't have (talent or) chemistry yet to say they will play the kind of defense needed to win many points against the upcoming gauntlet in their schedule.

- BluehorseShoe64

Too early to tell. I don't think they survive these next 7. I think they're on the outside looking in come the end of the month.

I could be wrong. If they can eek out 3 maybe 4 regulation wins I'll feel more confident.

I agree. I don't believe the Flyers are going to do what they should do moving forward but that deadline doesn't prove that. It was never set up to be that. The moves they had to make were minimal in terms of quantity.

Yeah and then they resigned Seeler. If you were truly committed you'd of sold off every UFA you could.

I agree on TK. That will speak volumes.

Many of Frost's detractors are incapable of watching a player and making an objective analysis of his play. If he doesn't make almost highlight level plays and put up points, then he was invisible. Incapable of seeing the solid all around game that he normally plays even when not putting up points. That's not to say that he doesn't have an occasional bad game or doesn't need to grow and put up points more consistently. He does. Then you have the idiots who when he does put up points, claim that Frost had very little to do with it. Mostly, I'll just settle Frost being judged with the same standard that other players are.

Phantoms wont make the playoffs so we should have these kids playing games when there is an opportunity due to injury.

Ginning has to pass thru waivers to be sent down, but Andrae doesn't neither does Grans, or Samson.

I would rather these young players gaining experience if they are ready to trading for players we wont have next year.

My 2 cents on Frost, FFS people let the kid play a full season before you micro manage every game he plays. If you were at work and your boss did this to you bet you wouldn't work there long. PROPS TO FROST for taking this bs approach from Torts and still producing. With steady linemates and a steady coach he is a 2c all day long.

Tonight’s game ESPN+ or Hulu. 😡
- Laceemup88

What a freakin' joke... Buttman and other sports czars expects their Fans to becsubscribed to every service so as to be able to see all their games. Well, I've got news for them... I'm not giving up my Star Trek Universe with Paramount+ in a swap, so I can catch a handful of Flyers games. But THIS one is a meaningful one during a do or die stretch... and I have neither the time nor assets to attend ALL the home games; I attend nearly 30 as it it... and it seems like the ESPN+/Hulu ones are never in my games selected before the season (I suppose I should check the airing schedule before I seiect, huh?... and maybe be forced to attend games in close periods)

Seriously, I get most of my subscriptions through by exorbitant Xfinity package... HBO, PEACOCK, PARAMOUNT, etc... I'm not about to commit to over a $300/month budget for Hulu, Disney, et al... Hilferty, you are getting my blood through Comcast and full season tickets already, please open up ALL the Flyers games for free for your loyal fans... stand up to Buttman on this, and forget about the revenue bribes you are getting to withhold them. //Rant 😡

Drop the cable and go Hulu Live with ESPN+. Add Max and you are still cheaper than cable. I just did the comparison. Between Hulu Live and ESPN+ you can basically watch any sporting event that it televised in the US.

And please tell your friends that we are laughing at them for supporting a team that has Epically Sucked for over a decade despite having multiple number 1 picks and picking in the top 10 just about every year! Good job Buffalo!

Dude, i clarified this saying they’re a humble crowd and realize the embarrassment their team is. Your incessant use of exclamation points dont make your posts any more legitimate.
