Mailloux has looked much better recently in Laval according to most reports.

Yes, significant improvement the past 2mths. Mostly since he played with Arber...he took his game to another level. He still needs work on his defensive game nad improve at closing gaps but he is progressing. He is expected to push for a spot in the Habs line up next year |

Ideally he is ready to take a full time job by 2025-26 season when the team will be expected to challenge for a playoffs spot. We have to let these kids develop. Teams draft players for who they think they will be at age 22/23, not 20. He is having a decent first year in the AHL, he is improving, Habs are closely monitoring his development and so far it is working, as you say...patience. |
