WTF???? - nyisles7
Pelech was behind the play. It looked like he tripped or was just off balance. |

Ugh. I wonder what we're going to see tomorrow.
They lose the tie breakers to the teams around them in the standings. |

Got a point they didn't deserve. 3 games in a row where they don't show up. I don't even think they were any good in 1st. |

Play 1 good period of hockey you’re going to lose more so than win.
Fortunate really to get 1 point.
They better be ready to play 3 periods Agatha Rags tomorrow. |

Classic Islanders. As good as they looked on the winning streak, they look just as bad on the following losing streak. It's what fuels the fan disagreements about exactly what this team can do...are they good or terrible? Yes. |

Another weak effort. They're going to get crushed by the Rags tomorrow. |

They will probably lose, then again maybe the Rangers will be tired after spanking the Pens today. |

Lou should have made a move for a forward at the deadline. He didn't have to add a star but someone with speed like Duclair would have fit nice on top line . Nelson is better off at center and call that Russian kid up from Bridgeport. |

Lou needs to retire or be fired if he will not step aside. Team tried changing coaches. Now it’s time to change the GM and players. |

I am really happy he didn’t add anything. I don’t want to give up anything at this point. Part of me would like to believe he’s well aware that this lineup is stale that’s why he did nothing even though he’s telling the public something different. Who knows. |

NY Islanders Blow 21st Third Period Lead of the Season in 4-3 OT Loss to the Ottawa Senators
Adding more to this current would have been a mistake. Their inconsistency and in ability to closeout games, did not warrant additions. It warranted letting the team play out the season and make the necessary off season moves without giving up assets for a short term gain.
For once I am glad the team stood pat. Let Roy really see what he has and let him convince Lou on the moves that need to be made. I see Lou being active at the draft.
Just my opinion. |

Didn’t you say you thought it was a waste to hold onto the first rd pick and other picks bcs they never turn out great anyway right before the trade deadline?
Or was that someone else? |

Do we really want Lou to be the one making the moves at this point? It's doubtful Lou is going to change his ways at 81 years old. |

Not me. Lou did a lot of good for the organization but I would’ve been fine with him being out out to pasture a while ago. Writing was on the wall… |

We have to hope the hiring of Roy did not buy a few more years for Lou with ownership. Lou has gotten a lot out of this game, but it's time he gives back and does the right thing. |
