also very good as a cold salad. add tomatoes, salami, olives, and two chesses of your choice. cut it all up. pour some italian dressing on it. could do vin and oil but buying a bottle already has the spices added. refrig. serve chilled. very tasty.

i googled that cake though. it looks like a holiday fruit cake. and i'm pretty sure holiday fruit cakes are a huge, world-wide inside joke gift. everybody who is given a holiday fruit cake just throws it away.
