Your ignorance is astounding. Some very key points. The first is that I can factually prove that Konecny is a 1st line player which separates it from being an opinion. Either yours or mine. You can't offer any facts that prove that I was wrong on the Couturier situation. Lastly and perhaps most important is your repeated use the word absolutely. That is incorrectly applied by you based on the fact that I have stated, numerous times, that anyone who believed that the Flyers should've traded Couturier, were not wrong in my opinion. I've stated this to you numerous times. No matter how many times I refer to that fact, it doesn't sink into your brain. So how can it be absolute? Couturier being scratched by this coach has zero bearing on this in my opinion. - MJL
#1 my tk comment was sarcasm. I agree he’s a top line winger. Maybe on some teams he wouldn’t be the TYPE top line winger they’d want but he is absolutely a top line winger.
As far as coots the facts are clear as day of why it was wrong. Even if you were willing to deal with the back end of contract not being good for the front part being worth it what more proof is needed? 2 years missed. Low production once back. Reduced minutes. And now benching. What more proof could you possibly need?

Would have been nice for the OK player to make Samsanov make a save there on a break away. - jd250
He did make a save. Or did you just ignore the replay?

How many near goals have there been in this game? A little too back and forth for my taste against this team. |

I am really impressed with Zamula as he has developed nicely this year. He looked very good against Boston the other night, playing over 20 minutes in the game. I guess Torts and Shaw know a little about how to develop a player, eh? |

It's an 8 year contract. Give him time.

100% agree with this. Reminds me of when Buffalo made playofffs with the hardest working team in hockey with Ted Nolan as coach.
Respect the effort and all and sometimes semi entertaining but never gonna win cup. Which should be the goal - Stayin alive
Agree with what? That a coach’s methods eventually fall on deaf ears and Torts like every other coach in the history of the league has a shelf life….that’s some ground breaking observation there. |

That they aren't scrubs is exactly why you explore trades. Neither are players that you shop and take the best offer. You have to get the correct value, especially for Konecny. There is no doubt that they're going to extend Konecny. - MJL
Like I said the absolute worst thing you can do is extend them. (Tk)
See coots (how’s that turning out)
And yes you definitely want correct value. No doubt. Totally agree. And only a moron like Fletcher wouldn’t get at least close to correct value. But what is worse than getting correct value or any value for that matter is extending long term especially for where this team sits |

So true ..
Oh .. see how smart I sound ... NHL players will eventually tune out their coach and need another voice .. it will happen .. you just watch |

I also agree there probably is no doubt they will extend tk. I am holding out hope at draft only because I love the idea of mm and that move kept me in for now and bought time with me. However I need tk moved and laughts. Hart gone for other reason but wanted no part of his extension
Sadly this team never learns. Hopefully they prove me wrong. I’d be happy |

The difference is with some coaches and the really good ones is that a team will have some real success before he runs his course with his team. That's not going to happen with Tortorella. That is the point that in the time until that happens. The Flyers aren't going anywhere. |

Prove it .. go back in your archives and show me just 1 post where I have criticized him. I posted back in pre-season when I watched the Flyers play the Bruins live that two of the best players for the Flyers were Zamula and Poehling. |
