It was Ristolainen and Drysdale skating. Seeler has a broken foot from accounts. |

York and Ersson were very good last night. Frost and Tippett were good also. Zamula had a great first 30 minutes. Sanheim was overall good. Good win. |

I would say Ginning and Attard were quietly good.

Really have to temper that with expectations. Inexperienced rookie playing in the NHL. He didn't make any egregious errors and wasn't on for any goals against but he at best held his own. Same for Zamula, he really struggled in the game but he is playing in an elevated role that he's not really ready for at this point in time. It was a simply a game where the Flyers completed, got some breaks and got solid goaltending to get two points. However overall, not a sustainable way to play.

Ginning and Zamula were both quietly good. I thought Zamula was very good in the first half of the game. He struggled with turnovers in the second half of the game.
If the Flyers get that level of play from Ginning and Zamula moving forward that is a good thing. Solid efforts. They are definitely playing above both of their depths. So a game in which they were not noticeably bad is a good thing.

I'm sorry but although he competed and taking into consideration that he is playing an elevated role. Zamula wasn't quietly good. He struggled greatly. When Zamula was on the ice at 5 on 5, shot attempts were 34-15 in favor of the Leafs. Scoring chances were 25-9 in favor of the Leafs. He and the Flyers were extremely fortunate that no goals were scored. He's a young defenseman just developing and unfortunately, the Flyers don't have a choice but to play him in elevated minutes. I really like Zamula and I think he's a good young player but the on ice results were not good. It was bend but don't break at best.

I do not disagree for the most part. I think if you look at the stats again you will see that the first half of the game was drastically different than the second half for Zamula. He broke up a good amount of plays with an active stick specifically in the first period. He had a very good half of a game and a what you should expect second half of the game. Flyers are in trouble if they have to rely on him for 75% what they got yesterday.

Anyone that's played the game knows that if you get hit on the outside of the skate like that you are doomed to suffer a broken bone. No padding and exposure to the bone. Vulcanized rubber traveling at 80-90 MPH hitting bone...not good.

Speaking of agreeing - do you agree the Rangers were very good when Rupp was there? |

If not mistaken they got bounced in the 2nd round. Going off memory though and it seems like forever ago ✌🏼 |

Can't you ever answer a simple question? Rupp only played one full season with the Rangers, 60 games in the 11/12 season. The Rangers finished 2nd overall in the league that year. If they had nothing left for the playoffs. How did they make it to the Conference finals that year? |
