What's that have to do with anything. Oh, cause the facilities aren't to today's standards it means that there were no good players there? Guess you like sticking your nose in the air much? Also played Westtown rink back in high school, but since it isn't there anymore I guess that doesn't count either. - Phillywhiteout
Okay, so you are much older than I am. So no I don’t think you would skate all over me. In fact I don’t think you could keep up w even the C leagues these days. And they are a bunch of benders…

I'm surprised that an NHL player hasn't come out of there yet (although perhaps someone has since I don't follow it as close as I used to). Yeah, I couldn't keep up if you are a real player. Played a little hockey back in January, but the young bucks took it easy on me. |

See, we can be civil. Did you grow up in West Chester?

We are all massive failures on here and bow to the king yet you live on here, so what does that say about you if the rest of us are failures? Inquiring minds want to know. Wait wut? - Phillywhiteout

Civility is the way to go! With the exception of the little boy that just made another post. He's desperately seeking daddy's attention, but daddy won't give him any, so he keeps posting. It's really nothing personal on here for me despite some heated exchanges at times with the exception of the one turd in the punchbowl. Shhh...he's too stooooopid to figure out that I will no longer humor him on here, but I'm sure he'll continue to embarrass his sorry ass. |

1 goal in what 27 games? This is lecavilier type stuff from couts. - Just5 His numbers are brutal. He is also a -17 in that stretch of games, but I think Torts should man up and tell his captain to his face. That's were Torts fails as a manager. He has every right to scratch him if he feels he has a better chance to win without him, but communicate it with him. Kind of disrespectful to just tell him via text.

People can’t admit how bad he’s sucked and that Poehling actually might be a better option over him up in the lineup. Couts will get back in. But he’s earned it |

I thought Couturier was a breath of fresh air in the first half of the season. The organization gave him the “C” and he’s been a black hole of nothingness ever since. |

If we can by some miracle get a couple wins or even 3 pts in the stretch we should be ok to make the dance. The teams chasing us have a tough sched in to the finish line. |

They should sit him the rest of the season really. Cote suite. Haha.
Tbh, I was always expecting him to hit a wall. In the early part of the year, he was playing waay too much because of the lack of depth on this team. It would likely have been smart to curb his minutes in view of the fact that he had been out for a year and a half and coming back from a serious back injury. I believe he’s nursing some injury. Coots at 50 percent is still better than a lot of our forwards that started last game.
Atkinson is cooked a la lecalvalier. Hes got nothing left. If he’s not scoring he can’t contribute. At least coots has other aspects of his game that can help. |

Look back at the beginning the season. Again, we see that Frost, when given consistent playing time, produces. How many times does Tortorella need to see that? Instead of scratching Frost a bunch of time. He could've been playing him, giving him ice time and taken some of the load off of Couturier in the beginning of the season. Overplaying Couturier and scratching Frost was a major coaching error by Tortorella. I still believe that the Flyers are going to make the playoffs but if they don't. Not having a fresher Couturier could be a major reason why.

So Couts is lying .. oh .. wait .. you hung out with him last night and got the real scoop .. ok ..
Let me ask you this .. was Frost playing at his current level earlier this season? If not, why not? |

Frost being the best center on the team kills you.
The only time Frost hasn't produced this season are the stretches the idiot coach healthy scratched him while running Couturier into the ground. Only TK, JF and OT produce more points per game this season than Frost has.

Cates down below Zamula is so funny considering dopes were trying to talk him up as a 2C last summer. Noah offense from that guy. |

It’s only a coaching error if it leads to re-injuring Couturier. Couturier has been pretty healthy and you probably want you 7-8 million dollar center playing as much as possible, seeing how money is such a big deal to you, as well as other fans. |

He missed games from injury in November and again in January.
Averaged 20:03 up till January 13 (40 GP, 10 G, 19 A, +11).
Since then has only averaged 16:10 (24 GP, 1 G, 6 A, -17). |

It's pretty high for a player that dullards were convinced should be in the AHL or Europe. |

Not at all ... I am a Flyers fan first and foremost. I have ZERO loyalty to any one player. I certainly root for players, like TK for example, because I connect with the way they play, but in the end I like any player that helps the Flyers win games. Thus, I have been and will always be very objective when it comes to Frost or any player. Frost is playing great hockey right now. To me he is finally doing what I knew he could do and wanted him to do for two years now, deferring less, driving plays, and getting more pucks on net. I am very happy for him and I sincerely hope he continues to play this way the rest of his career. However Frost was not playing this well earlier in the season. I surely don't believe he deserve to sit for 8 games, that was ridiculous! But if he needed to sit for 1 or 2 games to be more receptive to the coaching he was obviously getting, I have no problem with it.
In general I wish Torts would stay away from this type of drama, he is his own worst enemy sometimes. I mentioned Frost already, but also this BS with Anthony SanFillippo .. just talk to him off line like a man, agree to disagree if needed, and then answer the guy's questions. Fighting with the media is the stupidest thing a coach can do and only creates a distraction the organization does not need.
