in his defense, his view is blocked, due to his head being up Torts ass. Don't get me wrong, I like some things Torts does, they have structure and they play hard. I have no issue with tough love, but tough love does not need to be disrespectful. - wcorvette
Exactly. I am not a Torts hater and I think he has done some really good things but his penchant for picking on certain players is exhausting.
That is an awful big haul for a bottom six forward. My guess is that the Sabres would say no. - MBFlyerfan
Who knows with that organization
Don’t mean to dwell on positives and screw up the mood here, but I thought sanheim played a pretty decent game he the leafs. He was more active and aggressive up in the play I found. More like he was early on in The year. Really need that sanheim to be the one we consistently get.
I actually think Konecny would make sense for Sabres as they try to be a playoff team. - J35Bacher
Man. If they did that, you’d want a really good return. I’d also prefer to sent him west so we only have him tapdance on our skulls twice a year vice four times.
I have offered what I think Frost needs to do to develop into a top 6 forward for two years now, its well documented, its consistent with no ambiguity. Frost is finally starting to do these things consistently and he is seeing good results in meaningful games. It's clear as day. The only one that is wrong here is you, which I completely expect since its clear to everyone that other than maybe in the school yard with an orange Esposito ball, you have never actually played this sport. - jd250
The only thing consistent with your opinions is that they're consistently wrong. Your childish and unsupported claims about who has done what and who has played the game is just in a indication of your lack of intelligence and is not an effective retort. It's the only avenue you have since you can't show any intelligence involving the sport of hockey.
Jack Drury, Teuvo Teravainen, Jesper Fast likely all out, so will go 11-7 and DeAngelo will draw in for the first time in a few weeks.
Aho and Kuznetsov likely getting double shifted. - BINGO!
The low risk gamble of trading for Kuznetsov seem to be paying off so far. The addition of him and Guentzel were big adds for the Canes. Only big question mark I see moving forward is goaltending.

Kochetkov has the best sv% of any goalie in the east Since Dec. 12.
Rough start to the year but he's been legitimately good in the second half. Pretty confident and excited group
Looks like Couturier will be scratched again tonight.

Frost only needs “one” thing to be a legit top 6 forward. CONSISTENCY.
Sure. I think Canes style contributes to this stat being skewed against their goalies, though, because they give up such few shots, but the dangerous chances they do give up are usually odd-man rushes of the one-and-done variety.
It's hard to have any sort of maintained pressure/possession against the Canes, but you'll get primo chances against them by not biting on the low guys and keeping pressure on the points when they have possession in your zone.
