Same than Caufield back in time, Hutson is not signing with the Habs to play with Laval… - TheInformer697041
that depends on his intentions, wouldn't be a bad thing for him to play in the AHL and continue his development, very different situation than for a forward.

I think he will play as a 7th and see all Power Play, OT and limited time…
If he is does bad they may send him down like they did with Caufield but Laval will be a plan B
I think Mailloux could take a spot. He improved a lot this year
Hutson (if he signs) and Reinbacher will start in Laval I think - stinger67
He’ll sign, Hughes seemed pretty sure about that, and i don’t think he’d mind a bit of AHL time, get used to the physicality of pro hockey before making the jump to the NHL, especially considering his size

yeah, I wouldn't mind if he had an extra sandwich or two here and there lol

He's probably going to be with the Habs for the last two games of the season, burning a year on his entry level contract
He'll need some AHL time. Really important they don't try to skip steps with him
my though exactly. like Farrel last year. - fidopro
My only concern is that his younger brother Cole is going to join BU next season...I wonder if having a chance to play a year with both his brothers at BU could be important for him.
