I think Tyson Foerster is a Torts project.
Foerster is gonna be thanking Torts in interviews on the NHL network in ten years from now. - roenick97
you could say that about york also
he buried him in the AHL for a year told him to get better |

Coming down the stretch, Ersson gets a lot of credit. No real credible back up. He has had a bad game here and there, but it has not turned into a cold streak of games. |

Like the line of Cates/Coots/lycksell
Refs let 2 calls go vs Bruins at the end, but linesman nitpicked draws - wcorvette
Line was super solidā¦spent most of their shifts in offensive zone. Great to see.š |

Jack Edwards has always been a first rate homer but he wasn't awful at calling a game. This season though it's as if he's suffered a stroke and nobody's said anything. He just says words spaced out by 5 seconds in his call now. Super strange. I hope he's OK. - Pixote Andolini
I had his feed for the first halfā¦it kept going in and outā¦.then to my joy it switched to the Philly feedā¦ |

this was one of the better lineup choices today. no atkinson, no nic d, no staal, lycksell, attard and ginning looking like they belong out there, younger players are driving the bus for the most part.
sub erik johnson out for Drysdale or Seeler (whoever comes back first) and let it roll |

Amen to all of this! It's nice to roll the 4th line more frequently like they did today. Hopefully Seeler gets back sooner than expected.

It s important that the young guys are driving the bus and getting these learning minutes. Agreed 100%.
Excited to see some of these guys that have taken major steps as the year as gone on. They have legit young pieces got forward.

But Courturier didnāt score again. He needs to be benched again. All those 4th line minutes and not even a point? What was the coach thinking letting him play. - mikeyo27
No but One goal lead, One minute left, game on the line... who was in there? Selke candidate. There is a lot more to Coot's game than offense. Torts will do what he has to do to win and if it's benching his captain, he'll do it. But he does know Coots has great defensive value. Maybe he was just trying to shake him up? It's not like we don't have two pretty good scoring lines right now. |

He's been a calm presence. Which is exactly what you want from a goaltender. He can make the big save when it counts.

He rebounds well after a goal or a loss. He really has only had a handful of subpar games, and under the circumstances this year, and how much he is playing, he has exceeded expectations. |
