Something still does not seem right.
That ship is so far left off the path that they waited too long if that Mayday call went out that close to impact. How long were they a drift to veer that far off course?

I have watched him since he came into the league, listened to his interviews etc. He is not a leader, more specifically he is not the leader Buffalo needs, this will be an Eichel situation all over again.
Dahlin is a talented player, the organization has mismanaged him and will continue to do so. Putting the C on him going into year 14 and failing again is a recipe for disaster.

No specifics on this? I doubt he's a rocket scientist when it comes down to it, most professional athletes aren't, but wonder what the big indicator was here.

If they keep it in house, I would give it to Tuch. Wouldn't mind a player from outside brought in with some winning pedigree.

Plenty of identifiers…Erik Johnson taught him what a sauna was.
Listen to him on the spittin chiklets podcast…low IQ, easily influenced, a normal young guy off the ice.
